New York Dog Wash - Chevron Island

Belinda and Yolanda are just brilliant. Sugar and Breeze our fur babies have had their best haircut/groom ever. They are so friendly and professional. This is like a family not a franchised business, we are so lucky to have found them. They will be our forever dog groomers.

NY Dog Wash was excellent. Frank had a Times Square Tidy Up (mani, pedi, facial and brazillian) and he looked very dashing following his treatment. Belinda was terrific, very easy to get to and heaps of parking.Well work a visit.

Severe disappointment with everything from the ability to groom my dog, to the customer service and attitude when approach about doing the wrong thing. After speaking to many people about my terrible experience I have discovered there has been dogs returning with fleas, not had their nails trimmed and ears cleaned like was asked and more people with the same experience as me. I went in to this place the day before my appointment to check with them that they were able to just trim my dogs fur and not shave it. They were “too busy” to take five minutes or less for one of their return customers. They constantly overbook themselves leaving no time for jobs that may take a little longer which results in a rushed job and utter poor quality service. I asked multiple times and was very specific about not shaving my dog. I had ensured the whole area that was to be kept long was free from knotting or matts. I wanted his legs, belly and face to be short to keep it clean and tidy for him. When I picked him up, his ears hadn’t been cleaned and he was completely unrecognisable and shaved. The cost was so uneven, it looked like a child had attacked him with an electric shaver. My dog was almost thrown at me and that they would never be grooming him again. No apology, no remorse for the fact that they had just no consideration or time to care. As any dog owner would know for somebody to disrespect the wishes of their own dog without even such as a call if they really couldn’t do what was asked is just completely unreasonable. I would advise to book your pup in elsewhere and get them the proper service that they deserve.

My 2 toy black poodles Pierre and Fifi love to go there. They are very well groomed and very well taken care of..I trust them with my fur babies and have no hesitation in recommending them to take good care of your fur babies too Blessings Deidre Pierre and Fifi

Recently moved to Chevron Island and top of the list was to find a dog groomer. This is Molly's second visit and just wanted the girls at New York Dog Wash kmow what a brilliant job they do. Our fur baby is very precious to us and I can't sing their praises high enough. Thankyou, thankyou.

First time visiting. Was taking care of very well, both me and my dog. My fur baby leads me towards your place on our morning walk so he must have good memories.See you soon, though he was embarrassed about the amount of shaving around his butt.
