I bought a plain sourdough today to try out which was $8. It tasted very strong on yeast almost like light vegemite. The bread is dense and doughy inside.. probably first and last.

I wanted to visit there because it is a historic place. Garden area requires bit of clean up and updating. There are many trees over the tables and many birds making noise which might cause potentially unwanted bird bomb…. Service was extremely slow and insufficient. There were many waiters there so it must be management issue.Cakes and coffees were ok. I am sure food will be nice. But overall disappointing experience.

Great breakfast with a great atmosphere. Very happy with the Big Breakfast today. The Salmon was outstandingly fresh. Thank you guys, and I'll be back.

A-MAZE-ING!!! The best breakfast I have ever had out, everything was perfectly cooked and the favours were incredible...my whole table would agree. The coffee was also great plus the fresh bakery goods are out of this world. Best to dine in for the beautiful rustic cottage feel.

A bake house with a long history turned/expanded to great outdoor cafe. The cafe yard has a well and the natural setting makes it more attractive to the people loves eating out on a sunny day.Despite all cool and nice arrangements our ordered food was a bit worse than usual cafe food, salt less with a down taste. Probably it was just a bad day for their kitchen.But I guess the bakery items are really popular in this area.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to Turner's Bakehouse Eatery left me with no choice but to give them a one-star rating, which is an exception for me.While I understand that every establishment can have off days, the service I encountered at Turner's Bakehouse was exceptionally poor. Despite the tasty food and charming cafe atmosphere, the rude and inattentive staff made the overall experience deeply unpleasant.My partner and I ordered a smoked salmon bruschetta and a vanilla slice. However, it took an unusually long time for the bruschetta to be prepared. To make matters worse, when it was finally brought to our table, the waitress hastily left without noticing that we had not received the vanilla slice.Despite my attempts to get the waitress's attention, waving my hand and saying excuse me

I’ve been here a quite a few times now and have to say it’s always a wonderful experience.From time to time there might be a bit of a wait but the coffee is always perfect and the food has never disappointed.The court yard is a very pleasant place to be on a warm afternoon. Their ordering system has also been updated to allow you to directly order and pay via a ar code from your table.Today we shared a big breakfast and serve of pancakes. *note the big breakfast is definitely BIG!Thank you to the lovely staff who were still smiling on such a warm day!

We had recently bought some platters from here for a party and loved them so decided to come try it out for some lunch. The food was great and atmosphere very relaxed.For the uninitiated, we were told to just pick any table and they will come to us, however you can also order through the QR code on the table.

This place is a hidden gem!! It's as if the owners picked up a building in Daylesford and dropped it off in Mernda. I had pancakes which were awesome, my son had the big breakfast which was...well.... big. We definitely want to go back.
