Please do not use this company if you value the health and life of your animals. Whilst I've not used them personally a family member has and the service was disgraceful. They forgot about my family member's dog in the heat of January for one week and they were lucky when they returned home that she was still alive, although she was very sick. There was maggots in her food bowl and her water bowl was bone dry. They were meant to go daily to feed and walk her, but only one of the cans that had been left out had been used. They have denied this, but of course they would, they're not going to admit to such despicable care to a client. Not only this they have also blocked my family member from their Facebook page so that a bad review cannot be left or any negative feedback be seen by the public, but here it is anyway. So do yourself a favour and don't use them.

Always rude on the phone, provided if they answer. Caused two injuries - first an ear infection followed by a laceration from a full clip - did not take any responsibility, on the contrary blamed me for not looking after my pup. My pup is still recovering from the clipping incident which was 2 months ago - very distressful. Hence I do not recommend this groomer under any cost even if they offered free services - very limited skills and knowledge accompanied by zero professionalism. Beware.

My sister and I have taken our dogs here a few times already for a wash and a bit of grooming. We have found them to be very nice and easy going. Our two dogs not only done on time but have come out looking there best each time. One of our dogs has a bad anxiety issue and is terrified of new people, yet some how he came out happy and relaxed which was a real surprise to us. I have already greatly recommend these guys to my friends and family. A+

My dog was groomed here some time ago and I am surprised to find that this company is still operating. They took hours longer than quoted and did not know how to groom my maltese x at all. He had everything clipped off including all the hair on his face ears and tail. What was most distressing to us was the sound of him screaming from the table when we returned to pick him up at the agreed time. We were told he wasn’t ready and told to come back a couple of hours later. We were told he was fine and it was not him making all the noise however we could still hear his distress from outside whilst waiting in the car. He looked dreadful when they finally handed him over and he shook uncontrollably for several hours after his groom. He was very distressed. A trip to the vet followed after it was discovered that they had clipped both ears on both sides of each ear and he had chunks missing out of each ear. This was initially hard to detect under the small amount of hair that was left until they scabbed over and became infected. This was a terrible experience which traumatised not only our dog but also our family. Our dog is now terrified if he sees us getting his brush and hides whenever he hears water running in preparation for his bath. If I could give minus 1000000 stars I would however 1 star is the lowest feedback available. Beware. Beware.

We took our Pom X to Dogfather quite a few times for a groom that included wash and cut + teeth and nails. Unfortunately it seems they lack the skill to properly groom dogs with long fur and each time they chose to do a close clipper. The last time they clippered her fur so short she barely had any left and if that isn't bad enough they full clippered her tail and face and ears and even cut off her whiskers!She is now incredibly scared to be brushed or have anyone touch her head - where before she would allow us to brush her every day. We always found them to be unprofessional but this was the last straw.They would also book her in for a certain time but keep her there for hours with other dogs despite the fact they were told she is scared of other animals.We have not been there for quite a long time but I have felt the need to post this as we are still seeing the devastating effects of their mistreatment of her. I also see we are not to only one this has happened to.Avoid!

Was extremely happy with Sams groom. He looked so cute and not anxious like when I have picked him up from other groomers. I will definitely be getting him done here from now on.

Always rude on the phone, last appointment my dog was waiting over 2 hours for his cut, tried to make another appointment and was told that they were too busy and that I'd be waiting weeks" for an appointment. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Off to find a new hairdresser for the dog now!"

RUDE!! Cancelled, re-arranged then often re-arranged again 95% of the time. How this business stayed opened the years they did is a wonder!? However, I blame myself for continuing to book, well try to, my pup for a groom! I DO NOT RECOMMEND 'THE DOG FATHER'... ....ever!!!
