The best real chips in the Maitland area second to none ....Had a chip roll with bbq sauce because it's what I wanted and was absolutely delicious

Decided to give them a tryI grabbed a boss burger to my surprise it was just a bun with 2 beef paddy's and cheese not what I expected..being a boss burger you'd think it would have more on it ..not happyNever go back

Best fish and chip shop around. Staff are lovely, shop is clean and fresh and the food is delicious. The prices are reasonable and portions are excellent. They have my patronage!

Took the back way to Raymond Terrace on Christmas Eve and stopped here for lunch. They were smashed as so many people had the same idea. They still managed to produce very tasty fish and chips wrapped in butchers paper. Limited vegetarian options and no vegan/glittering free options. Staff were very quick while being quite hospitable and personable. Very impressive. A few tables to sit at while waiting but very definitely take away so no toilets etc. A bottle shop and grocery store across the road. Easy access for all. Very reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.

Chips were small and soggy with most of them being like the small burnt bits at the bottom and no chicken salt, with potato scallops being weirdly only half sized? Cost us $100 for scallops, fish and chips for 6 people. Quality was pretty poor.

I left a review 3/6 about spending $50 on food and all of it being inedible. Grey but somehow raw tasting chips, tiny scollops that were hard, burger with so much sauce it was as soggy. No salt even though we asked for extra salt. Can't seem to find this review even though the photo of my tiny scollop is still there. It was around the same time someone else talks about them precooking things. We called the same night & they weren't interested in replacing or refunding. Shame it's gone down hill since the name change. Bethas was the best.

Ordered 3 Pluto pups & chips.Pluto pups were greatChips if that's what you could call them were small overcooked bits of potatoPhone service was great however the person who collected order said they were rude.

Best fish and chips I have had in years.Still make their own chips and scallops.Made the traditional way things used to be in a traditional Cafe.The burgers are delicious.Everything cooked fresh.Chips so delicious and fresh they are my addiction. It has been decades since I have eaten a chip cooked so perfectly.The burgers I will caution you will make your mouth remember what flavour is in takeaway food and after devouring one of their delicious burgers any modern drive through experience will no longer be tolerated in your life.The service is perfection and old school style where the food and customer satisfaction is a 10/10 experience everytime.I wish I had photos to post but once the order is handed to me, alas pictures are not my first thought.My first thought other than to try and control my pavlovian salivation response is to decide how to ingest the package of flavour as soon as possible to sate the tastebuds longing for a juicy full flavoured burger with a serve of the freshest chips and scallops.It appears to be a family affair as all of these brilliant cafes once were.A family that knows its takeaway food.It's as though each order has that personal touch as if I was at a family barbecue being served by my own mother that thinks I need a good wholesome feed.No corporate money or bean counters shredding everything down to the last monetary unit.This isn't one of those places bought by people to just make money as so many of them are these days.This is a authentic family that cares as much about the product as they do about the business.Just a family making things with love and passion.The way things used to be.I hope it stays that way.
