Smoke Alarm Management (SAM Systems QLD) & Complete Property Compliance

Taking off the shoes is very easy when working in domestic place. It's a house. A rent house !.. You don't have right to make mess in my house with your filthy shoes. Find a solution before entering my property !..

Wants to hold up traffic on the highway doing 20km under, and likes to abuse people who go around him. Stupid old bell end. Given the reviews, I'd stay away from his work too. Sounds as useless at his work as he is at his driving.

SAM Systems Queensland have provided a consistent and reliable service to us, on behalf of our real estate agency. We have a very hectic household with many medical & other appointments that often conflict with other arrangements, and can't allow anyone to enter our home without us (my husband & I) being present due to our adult son who has Aspergers & remains at home due to severe social anxiety. If anyone were to enter whilst our son was at home, alone, he would have an extreme meltdown caused by his overwhelming fear, anxiety, & inability to interact with outsiders" (anyone with an adult child with ASD will know what this is like). I have had no issues whatsoever with rescheduling SAMS appointments

Last time HE came here i told him to wipe boots, he just walked in leaving grass and dirt everwhere very rude and when i told him what the Goverment is doing he said they dont know anything, now it is LAW that all flats and units have to be conected he said no

SAM systems have been conducting inspections in my property in Brisbane for around 8 years, and have always provided an excellent service. A few issues have been identified in that time (including the requirement to upgrade smoke alarms when new legislation was introduced), demonstrating their diligence to ensure certification will only occur when smoke alarms are installed and function correctly. Their website shows a large banner regarding the change of legislation that commenced in 2017, indicating they are fully aware of the requirements - likely to a much greater extent than anyone who engages their services. I was surprised to see their rating from these reviews as it was so far below my own experience.As for taking off boots, anyone conducting electrical work is required to comply with PPE requirements in WHS legislation, which includes wearing non-conductive safety boots or shoes. I would much rather provide a decent mat or vacuum up a few bits of grass than call 000 to attend to an electrocution.Keep up the good work, and encourage more happy customers to leave a review so it accurately reflects what you do!

This company decided without consultation to change out my smoke detectors with 7 x $170 smoke detectors that they use and sent the bill to the property manager who paid it. When I asked for a refund it was refused.

Have used SAMS for quite a few years now, and they are the best. Always let you know when they are attending the rental property, and very clear explaining what upgrades were necessary.I would highly recommend them if you have a rental property. Their annual fee is lower than the majority of companies, but their service is brilliant. The upgrade wasn't the cheapest, but they used quality products, and when a warranty was necessary, it wasn't an issue. Fixed very quickly at no extra charge what so ever.

Had 5 smoke detection alarms fitted on sale of my property. They installed all 5 within 1meter of each other, yes 1 meter. which is fine if a fire starts beside you in the bedroom. They explained it meets code and would prevent any nuisance alerts. Yes, again if smoke was detected within 1 meter of the hallway and nowhere lese in the house. $600 for stick on cheap detectors and done in 15 minutes. Then took my battery ones that were spread throughout the property because they didn't meet code. Even though I had more faith in these alerting me than their own pitiful work. Go elsewhere. 1 star at best.

1 star is too many for this company. They only want to deal by email yet cannot respond correctly to detailed client emails. When I wanted a quote, they insisted on doing a smoke alarm inspection and billing me for it despite me telling them that I only had 1 smoke alarm and obviously needed smoke alarms installed NOT inspected! Just impossible to reason with! They did cancel the bill on complaint but too little too late!!!!

These guys are the best in the business. I have been using SAMS for quite some time now and they have always been on-time, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend. 5 stars from me!
