OMG - I can’t believe I found this place traveling Gold Coast to Cairns / just awesome selection of EVERYTHING deli items from salami’s to cheese to breads to cakes - Come on Otto’s open on Gold Coast

Came to Otto's expecting a really good time and good food. Arrived at 1040, and breakfast menu ended at 1100. Got in line straight away and was told at 1050 that the breakfast menu was not available anymore. Went back to the till at 1100 to order from the lunch menu and was told the chef wasn't ready to do lunch orders yet and to wait a further 10 minutes. Then when we did order - coffee was sub par.Maybe keep the breakfast menu open until the chef is able to start lunch menu? The waitress should have told us the first time we went up to order that they weren't able to take lunch orders until 1110 for example.Disappointing. They lost a sale of lunch food and we will not be going back or recommending.

Quite possibly the least enjoyable experience myself and 2 others have ever had.The employees were disrespectful and rude, not only to customers but to each other. The screaming and bickering behind the counter set the environment up when we first entered. The staff rushed and disrespected all customers in a way that I have not experienced or expected in a well known professional establishment.Not only did we have to take out a loan to get lunch from Otto's, but they got our entire order wrong. We ordered from in front of the Bain Marie's - not even from a menu.We all agreed that we have never had a more disappointing pie. All pies were uncooked on the base and fell apart as soon as they were taken out of the pie case - how else are we expected to eat them? The curry pie tasted purely of vinegar, the bacon and cheese had no bacon and cheese and the steak in all 3 pied was dry and chewy.Honestly, will be going to the servo instead if someone suggests Otto's at warrina in future.

Currently in Townsville on holiday's with my partner! She has family up here and I hadn't been here since the early eighties.My partners cousin took us to Otto's oh was I impressed Townsville's grown up! We had a bite to eat with great coffee. Also bought some amazing deli items for dinner at home later. If you like deli's with great choices from around the world and artisan breads this is a must felt similar to Newfarm deli but on a much larger scale reminded me of Melbourne.The staff where all so friendly as where the patrons also chatted to a few locals brought back fond memories of NQ personalities. If your up here it's a must

We had four cheese cheeseburger and pulled pork burger.The pulled pork burger was way too dry my husband couldn’t finish it.The cheeseburger was great.Chips were very nice and crunchy.

We are here today for lunch and it was great. The food is prepared very very quickly! We had a brisket roll, BLT and a southern fried chicken burger. Everything came with a side of chips. The portions are also quite generous and we ended up leaving half our meals as they were so big.

Otto's consistently provide exceptional service and products. Their baked goods are always of a high standard, and they have sweets to die for! Best and only place for pretzels in Townsville, I have a few every week and they always hit the spot. Amazing meat section and a unique range of items in store.

It's hard to find a good place for fish and chips.Not any more.Fresh and tasty.Good portion.Chips crispy and fresh.Highly recommend.Great little shopping arcade and well worth the look.

What a gem! The food is absolutely delicious (so much so, I visited two days in a row) and the coffee is freshly made and a smooth roast.I really enjoyed the vegetarian options - the tomato + the avocado.If you're in Townsville, please do yourself a favour and visit Otto's, it's a great spot.

Only placing one star so I can leave a review. This used to one of the best places in town for a coffee and pastry. I've tried to support this local business as I live close by as well. Slowly as they've expanded they've gone down hill. The coffee is usually burnt, no matter how many times I return it. The cakes are old and stale. The pie I unfortunately tasted was something like dog food except drier. Obviously not listening to any feedback I've given in person so maybe someone else will listen online. Really disappointed, from an ex Ottos fan.
