Beachfront Bliss

WOW - We have just spent a wonderful week at Barefoot at Beachfront with our family (2 Adults, 3 Children) and next time plan to stay with another family as the house can easily accommodate more people. Port Douglas is breathtakingly beautiful and our experience was all the better for staying here. The house itself has everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay.Most days we enjoyed having lazy breakfasts and dinners at home and would walk into Port Douglas town centre for lunch or pack a picnic to have on the beach. The kitchen is amazing with plenty of space to prepare meals and the BBQ area was undercover and perfect for escaping the sun. I did a Coles shop online and had it delivered the day we arrived.The house is very private but only a 1 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk via the beachfront to the town centre for a fantastic meal, massage, wander around the shops or yummy baked goods! The location, I believe, is pretty much as good as you can get at Port Douglas, offering both privacy and a quiet holiday vibe whilst only being only minutes from town.The house is stylishly furnished and equipped with every comfort including luxurious bathrooms (4!!), outdoor showers, soft linen, huge beds, air-con and a coffee maker! The kids loved the pool and flat grass area which we could see from the lounge and kitchen areas - it was very family friendly and we enjoyed games on the large lawn as well as a few early nights in the large home theatre room. The neighbourhood is also gated, so it was very safe for the kids to ride their bikes/scooters around which they loved!We will definitely see you again soon Barefoot at Beachfront xx

Beautiful house with great styling

Fabulous house, gorgeous decor, perfect position, walk down path to beach. Close to restaurants and coles for shopping. Comfortable beds. Loved it. Definitely return again. Great accommodation.
