Hillside Quilting

I have just completed an amazing five day retreat at Hillside Quilting, tutored by Anitaj Ellis. Such a wonderful learning experience in a serene location with beautiful people. Lots of learning, fun, friendship and fine catering. Highly recommended for quilters at any level. Can't wait to return! <3

I recently did the Tidy Tote bag tutorial via Video and enjoyed the process of making the bag and watching how to on the video helped and instructions were very good and clear. Looking forward to other tutorials.

The tidy tote pattern is absolutely the best. The instructions are clear and the pictures are outstanding. It was very easy to follow and well worth the price. I use it every day in my sewing room to store all of my notions. When I go to quilt retreats everyone loves it an orders the pattern. It makes it very easy to ensure that you have all your necessary notions. Hopefully they make it too. The only thing I would recommend is to find a harder plastic drawer unit instead of using the Sterilite drawers. The Sterilite drawers work well if you don’t over fill them, but if you do have a tendency to overfill the drawers (like I do) they sometimes get off the tracks. It is an absolutely fabulous unit. I will be making another with harder plastic drawers — they are slightly larger than the Sterilite drawers so I will have to adjust the pattern.
