Great set up to be able to watch the skydiving people land. The menu is very limited though, and took 45mins for us to get our food when it wasnt very busy. The pies then arrived barely warm.

Great afternoon at this venue.We spent few hours tasting their beautiful wine and savouring a very generous platter.Staff was very knowledgeable and absolutely attentive.Great place.

Absolutely a delightful setting to enjoy a nice bottle of wine and a tasty regional platter. Very impressed with this beautiful spot to sit in leisure with a glass of wine and enjoy the views over the vinyards and hills. Seriously, its a shame that more Aussies dont realise how lucky we are and the tremendous value we can have at such a short distance from home. No need to travel to Europe for this amazing experience. The facilities are of a high standard and service excellent yet friendly and warm. Hard to beat. Our platter of meat, cheese, salad, pat'e and fresh bread and crackers was so special. Thank you staff.

It was a cold day in Adelaide yesterday so my partner and I decided to go for a hot pie and a glass of wine at Richard Hamilton Wines, I had the chunky chicken with a glass of Leconfield chardonnay, and my partner had the same wine with the Lentil pie they were both amazing, And the staff we had were Karly and Stef, They know their stuff they explained the way the pies were prepared and why the wine went well with the pie. We will be back again, I purchased a bottle of the chardonnay and also a bottle of their premium Centurion old vine Shiraz. We had an enjoyable lunch.

We decided to stop here on a whim while driving past and we’re so glad we did! Sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful grounds, we enjoyed tasting an array of fabulous wines as well as a delicious grazing platter (the chicken paté was to die for!) Thank you Steph for looking after us so well! A must-stop for anyone visiting McLaren Vale. Highly recommend.

We have spent the morning venturing to different wineries. We stumbled across this amazing place. Steph is worth her weight in gold. She’s very knowledgeable and is happy to chat and answer questions about anything wine. We paired our lovely wine tasting with a cheese platter. 10/10 for the wine, service, food and most of all Steph’s service. If I had Richard Hamilton’s phone number I’d call him and tell him myself! Amazing place - visit, you won’t regret it! Thank you Steph, you’ve made this experience one to remember. You saved the day after our average experiences at other wineries!

Made my second trip, loved the sights, staff was amazing- accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our time next to fireplace.

Amazing scenery, service and staff at Leconfield! The cheese platters are top quality and truly give you what you pay for. Excellent wines.

Had a great platter with delicious cheeses, hot bread, dukkah, cold meats etc. Wines were fabulous as was the service. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
