We envision it is a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the winning losing or contest philosophy. Gracie Barra Sydney Brazilian Jiu Jitsu represents discipline, wellness, family, respect and so much more for anyone wanting to embrace the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle. Gracie Barra Bondi
I recently started at Gracie Barra Bondi, and I’ve been really enjoying the experience. GBB is a top-notch jiu jitsu club, I was looking for a safe environment with the right level of competitiveness and GBB just tick all the boxes, plus the timetable is super flexible which makes it more comfortable given my daily routine. Highlight of the gym is definitely the staff, the coaches are very fun and warm respecting and balancing the level of the students to make a fair and enjoyable class. I couldn’t be happier with the choice I’ve made.

Gracie Barra Bondi
I started at Gracie Barra Bondi around 6 months ago with no former grappling experience. I didn’t know what to expect really and I was pleasantly surprised.All the staff are easy going and friendly and they’re always helpful if I ever have a question. Ricky is extremely knowledgeable and makes each class fun and different.I am close to getting my second stripe.A great workout too! It’s very addictive. ☺️

I couldn’t be more happy that have joined Gracie Barra Bondi. I went from a white to a brown belt in this gym. This gym has a great atmosphere, everyone is very friendly and supportive. All staff is highly professional.

great school, great teachers and one of the best advanced Kids Competition Program in NSW. We travel twice a week from Castle Hill to the Bondi with our kids because of the quality kids training and high level training partners.

Not recommended!I went in there with no experience in Jiu Jitsu and felt like I had zero support from any of the trainers.One trainer in particular was passive aggressive and directly rude when I asked him how a move was completed. I was told I had 'the worst technique he had ever seen' and was asked 'seriously, how hard is it?' in one of my first 4 classes.Its also about $400 just to get started as you have to buy all their gear straight away.Maybe if you are a little more experienced, but not recommended for beginners looking to learn in a supportive environment.

Gracie Barra Bondi
If you’re interested in keeping fit and losing weight, while learning some self defense skills this is a great club to join. It has a welcoming and family friendly atmosphere with some great kids classes. I started after my kids joined and absolutely love it. The staff are friendly and professional and the main instructor is highly skilled and a very good teacher, adapting his style to suit different students. I highly recommend, since starting I’ve never felt fitter or more confident.

Hands down, the best club in the Bondi area. The Professor and coaches are excellent and some of nicest people I know. They have taught my son so much in such a short amount of time. GB Bondi BJJ is such a massive part of his development and I could not wish for better mentors for my son.

I never though I would practice Jiu-jitsu before, but them I did my first trial class and what a life changing experience. Everybody at Gracie Barra Bondi were really supportive and helped me to go through my insecurities (It was my first class! The people training with me didn't even know me and they were still happy for me and celebrating with me, that's something that you can't find easily). I can say for sure that I would blindly recommend everybody to try at least once and meet the incredible crew at Bondi. I love it <3
