Such a fun and different experience. Pedal powered train carts through the Tassie wilderness. Lovely friendly staff to give you some history before jumping aboard and pedalling to your destination and back. Don't fear if you think you'll be exhausted, there's a little quad bike to give you a push when needed. We did it with a 2yo and 4yo who were strapped into the back seats and loved it. Approximately 1-1.5hours in total from Maydena to pig and whistle return.

So much fun, a great day trip activity to complete alongside visiting Russell Falls.No experience required, ATV can push from behind as required.

Very enjoyable afternoon on ride 4 (16km towards Maydena from Mount Field location). Easy to organise through sending a text message to Jeff. Rail cart had a third seat just behind us in the middle to put our 2 year old in securely (very large lap seat belt!). Can pedal or be pushed as much as you want. Nice scenery, will be back.

We had a great time on these riders. Beautiful views and helpful staff. When tired or hills the guy give you a push with a rail tractor.Very informative too.! Lots of fun.

This was something different and not a typical experience. Being immersed right in the beautiful greens of nature and the option of the walk in the gardens at the halfway point. Don't be scared of your lack of fitness, the guide can help push you along, he was friendly :)

We enjoyed the rail track riders , Maydena to Florentine. Geoff is an excellent host and very informative. Cannot recommend this highly enough.
