Gap Creek Reserve

Really nice park, great mountain bike trails with a range of difficulties. Main park has some shelter, water and toilets.

There are some amazing wild flowers there at the moment and the cockatoos are very active. The council should indicate trail closures on the park information board. We walked quite a long way to find a trail closed with no option but to return to the car park. Although people were using it by going around the closure tape. There should be numbering on the trail signs to match the numbers on the park map. There isn't and the names don't seem to match the map. Some trails need warnings at the trail entry about how difficult they are. Because we were blocked from entering a trail we then went on a trail we hadn't expected to. It was challenging and when coupled with narrow sections, water crossings and mountain bikers, you have to wonder why they are open to walkers at all.

Nice walk, no waterfalls but the walk was fun.

The trail builders of this sanctioned trail network did an amazing job of building fun flow trails with very limited elevation. Laps are easy since climbing is not a horrible grunt. Big berms allow you to maximise your speed and small drops and table tops add to the enjoyment without being terrifying for newer riders since everything is rollable. The new pipeline trail is a little out of the way but totally worth the effort for seasoned riders. Fun flowy gap jumps, a cheeky drop that sneaks up on you even tho it is well marked, and a fun little wall ride. All trail heads are well marked and easy to read even for an old guy in the saddle. Hopefully they keep building on what they have. Water is available from fountains to refill bottles to continue your riding

Well maintained trails, clean facilities and friendly people!

Very well maintained facility. Pretty tough going with some very steep sections but so much fun - especially on an e-mtb. Gets you up the climbs easy enough so that you enjoy the coming down bits. Actually been coming here for years, first ride out with the emtb, and can't wipe the smile off my face.

A great trekking and picnic place close to the city. walking and biking trails are well maintained and are in great condition. You could hike up to Mt coot tha summit from here. Scorpion trail is probably the hardest.

It's been a minute since I last rode here. The trails are mint! Hats off to whomever is maintaining the trails (BORRA?).

Great family MTB location.- There are several fixed shaded areas with tables & chairs plus BBQ facilities.- There are toilets but your own soap or sanitiser is needed.- some shaded grass area down by the creek- exposed central grass area to sun- being a natural area, lots of midgies and mozzies- no bike cleaning facilities- two carparks approx 20 cars in each- areas for bush walks, some shared pathsRecommend:- MTB- bug spray- picnic rug- hand sanitiser
