Hair We R

Whenever anyone asks for recommendations for a great place to get their hair done I always recommend hair we r. However for the second time now I have left the salon thinking my hair looks great, until I get home and actually see what's been done.I have cried and cried since leaving my appointment not only due to a bad bleach job, but my hair is SO dry I don't think my regular olaplex and k18 treatments are going to help. I had to wash out my toner the next day because my hair was so overtoned there was purple, orange and blonde banding.I can't wear my hair down because the patchiness is so bad it's hard not to notice, and when I tie my hair up all you can see is orange streaks.My confidence has taken a massive hit and now I have to spend hundreds of dollars on treatments to get my hair healthy enough again to visit another salon.It breaks my heart to write this because I have always loved hair we r over the years for their great prices and friendly staff but lately their quality of work has really downgraded.

After reading previous reviews I decided to go here for something new.One week after my hair appointment here, I'm not completely happy with the results. I wanted a half head of foils, which I got, but I can hardly see them in my hair, and I'm a brunette.I was also made to leave my card details over the phone, to secure my appointment, and I have to say I have never experienced that kind of service over the phone.As for reasonable prices, I don't agree. I've had much better hair results for much cheaper.After months of waiting to have a hair appointment, this is disappointing.

I have been going to Hair We R for a few years and had my hair done with most of the girls there at one point or another. They are all so professional, friendly, and talented! Since I’ve been coming to Hair We R, I absolutely LOVE everything about my hair for the first time in my life! Chanel has been colouring my hair for the past year or so, and she is immensely talented - I don’t know how she gets it just so perfect every time. I’m so grateful that I found this absolute gem of a salon.

The shop is so much larger since the renovations and looks great. Hair We R is the only place I will go to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted. They were able to salvage what was left of them after another salon in Dapto butchered them. They helped to reshape and fix them over time. It's the only place I trust enough to go to now. Thanks girls!

I have been taking my 5 year old daughter Ava here. The prices are cheap. Very happy with the staff are very nice to us. They did a great job on bubs hair. l will definitely be going back again.

Beat hair dressers around. Always do an amazing job and have never left disappointed. Excellently priced too!

SHOW ME THE THE MONEY!! $$$$$$I was a customer here for about 6months, getting my hair cut every 2weeks. For the previous 10years I just cut my own hair at home with a set of clippers.One day I came home after a cut and my wife noted how badly my hair had been cut. It was basically a bowl cut. I gave the feedback to the owner politely but continued going there, opting for a different hairdresser.Then about a month later I arrived15mins late to an appointment and was told they couldn't cut my hair. I understand I was late and that's my bad but the owner was very rude and said they only allocated a 15min timeslot for me. When I asked when I could next get in she told me it would be weeks and made zero effort to try and work something out for me. I should also note that I had sat and waited patiently for 5-10mins on many occasions when they were running late and never once complained about it.Only when I went elsewhere for my hair cut did I really realise how poorly they were cutting my hair at HAIR WE R. I now go to Moe & Co in Dapto mall and they spend 35-45mins cutting my hair (skin fade + trim on top). They have so much more attention to detail and pride in the cut they're giving me. They razor cut my sides and trim my eyebrows if needed, all without me even asking. I pay over 50% more for the cut at Moe & Co but I do not hesitate. The customer service and quality of work is so much better.I now realise that HAIR WE R had no interest in me. I was a $25-30 cut and the owner was far more interested in the higher priced cuts and colours. The passion for providing quality service to any/all customers is overshadowed by her desire to maximise $$$$$$.I never write complaints like this but after the way I was treated and the experience I've had elsewhere since, I felt I had to share my experience.

Lovely staff here, quick and efficient! Very good value for money too.
