Brown Gouge Dry Cleaners

Was not happy. My wife dropped off my shirts to be ironed, specifically requesting for them to be hand ironed and not machine pressed and this was agreed. I have never had any luck with the ironing finish from machine steam ironing services. When I picked the shirts up I noticed a lot of creasing and crinkles, tell tale signs of machine ironing. I asked the lady and she said the shirts had been machined ironed as it would take too much time. Ok so I’ll never go here again for ironing.

I have tried many dry cleaners over the years. Even though I am no longer in Chelsea, I continue to use this service and I travel a little out of my way to get my cleaning done here. It’s always a high quality clean and the service is excellent.

Always polite, suits always come back clean and without issue. They've also repaired a few things for me, again faultless.

Simply the best!! They really go above and beyond! The owner even opened the shop at 7am one morning to allow us to collect items before an event we had. Excellent customer service!!

I recently had a wedding gown dry-cleaned by Brown Gouge in Chelsea. They did a great job and their service was very friendly and their expertise was excellent.

I took in 2 blankets. I was quoted by phone for a thin blanket vs a thick blanket, one of my blankets was thin, however I was charged both thick. Not only that, but my blanket was still covered in animal fur... not just one here or there... literally still covered! I went back in to request a partial refund, lady said she “can’t do that and that it’s totally acceptable that all the fur didn’t come out. That its like a stain, sometimes they don’t all come out and that it’s much better than what it was.” I said “if that where the case, I would’ve put it in my own washing machine. That was the whole point of dry cleaning!” If you can’t do a job right, don’t take it on! But don’t still steal my money for a service not complete! There should have been a disclosure upon drop off to expect that there would still be fur. That way, we could’ve made a decision prior if we would be satisfied with that... Not happy!!
