We have worked with Tim Guymer on three projects over a couple of decades. It has been an entirely rewarding experience. Tim has a deep understanding of building techniques, beautiful simplicity of design and lively flair and intuitive feeling for landcape siting and creating livable spaces. Tim is a pleasure to work with, both for us as owners and our builders.

We recently engaged Tim to design our house; it was the best decision we made. Tim is not your average architect; he is very approachable, reasonable and his design sense is second to none. I highly recommend Tim's work based on the exceptional quality of service provided to us.

Tim has designed two houses for us and each has exceeded our expectations. Tim took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and he thoughtfully considered all of our needs and wishes. Both of our houses have been more beautiful than we had imagined thanks to Tim’s exceptional design skills and attention to detail, combined with a strong knowledge of building techniques. We have lived in a piece of art designed by Tim Guymer for more than 12 years. Not a day passes when, walking around our block we don’t catch a view of the house that causes us to pause and admire its face and profile. Working with Tim was both a pleasure and a great adventure for us as his combination of creativity and practicality opened up new ideas and solved some challenging problems. We were very familiar with the land before we engaged Tim and our limitations were mainly about our budget. We had formed some ideas about designs after inspecting many houses including some designed by Tim. We loved his use of timber and the way in which his houses took advantage of the best features of the landscape to allow great views and use natural light. His design was ‘outside the box’ of our imagination. We have never regretted going with it.
