Best place for my daughter to start Kindy. She loved every day of it.

One time they locked me in a room for 4 hours till it was time to go home because I wore the wrong socks even though I had a note and explanation! THEY WERE IN THE WASH

An awesome place for education where teachers care about students, students grow as a whole person not just academically, and resources are plentiful.

BIG PLACE FOR BIG KIS

I went here back in the 80's and it was a very strict school then, where the cane was in place and used if there were naughty students who flouted the schools rules. Funnily enough, the headmasters name was Mr Kracknell, a rather fitting name......for someone who would give naughty students quite a few 'cracks' across the knuckles! Although it was strict then, I loved going there because it was a great school. There was no bullying then because of the cane and fear of you getting it! I had some fantastic teachers though: Mrs Thomson, my Kindergarten teacher. She was wonderful and would give each student a Blackberry Juice Ice Cube she'd make at home and bring in on hot days! There was once I was waiting for class and the wind blew the heavy solid door shut on my little finger and nearly chopped it clean off! Mrs Thomson called my dad and he came to get me to take me to the local doctor and get it sewn back on. After a few days off school, Mrs Thomson actually visited me at our house in Currans Rd (the block of flats that got burnt to the ground back in 1980/81. We actually lost everything we owned in that fire, except for our lives and the clothes we had on...all because of the lady next door falling asleep with a cigarette). I was amazed! She popped in to give me a present and to say to my parents, He didn't even cry! Not even once!" But yeah....she was an amazing teacher! Year 2

Studied here for 4 years across primary/high school. Solid but pricey education. Worthwhile for the opportunities presented.

Yeah nah mate. Save ur money and go some where else.

Absolutely awesome ambience

At the end of term1 2018 my school went to Myuna Bay for an excursion, we encountered Avandale Private school.The students were very wild and one of them threw a soccer ball at my friend’s head. The Avandale teacher in charge pretended not to see, even when the Avandale students were shouting at us and claiming that we were bad at soccer because we couldn’t dodge a soccer ball. I personally don’t think they could dodge a soccer ball from behind either! They were bullying us for being a public school. I would have given a -5 stars if I could!
