The customer service is at its worst. They don't even acknowledge when a customer arrives, showing such irresponsible behavior. To make matters worse, the network quality is deteriorating every day, forcing me to search for a location with a signal just to write this review.

I've been there a couple of times. I think some staff are good and some just couldn't care less. So I changed to Vodafone..was clever enough to amend the direct debit, because now I am being sent a bill for the past month, even though I am no longer with Optus. Ah, modern times. Computers are only as good as the people who use them. Should I bother going in again to clarify the situation? From past experience, for me, it would be an absolute waste of my time.

I really like that they have a customer service person to attend to you initially. HOWEVER just do double check before you sign the papers.Seekly a member who served my husband added charges, lured him into programs which after exhaustive explanation did not match our requests.We had to go there three times to sort it out.Thank you for selling us the products and not adding the discounts. May you enjoy your company rewards.Mate! honesty counts...I am saving your name so that at least you do not lose your job.It is not hard to be honest just be good human being .Because I believe in karma.

The customer service is worst. The lady at the reception is not willing to help and ignoring us. The online support team just asked me to get a post paid sim from store to port the number but she said can't be done and made me wait. I called support team to inform and they would like to speak to store person and she denied to even speak on call. We felt like it's discrimination. We continue to wait and later another person just came and gave sim .Leaving this survey if optus can look into improve how to treat their customers. I am with optus since 10 year irrespective of having issues many number of time. I have tried to leave but the retention team always promised and I have continued. Looks like time to break loyalty

Sahiba named staff gave me and my dad the worst experience in customer service that we ever had. Date is 01.02.2023. Time was roughly between 3:50 pm and 04:30 pm. Purchase item is iPhone 14 pro, by Harminder pal Singh. This info is if anyone wants to check video cameras if store. We went there to change name of ownership of the number, transfer from me to my dad’s name and also for him to buy a new phone. First as soon as we sat down she hardly made any eye contact and just straight away asked us we can do change if ownership by going on Pptus app- no issues there- but she didn’t once say it with a tone to offer the alternative- that she can also offer her assistance on the matter. We ignored- I requested her that we have come here to get things done to avoid any hiccups as we both are going overseas shortly and would like to get this sorted asap, so we will appreciate if she helped us. No response. No engagement. Her face to screen. She was not explaining plans properly. Little pieces of information were given. And if we asked something she would rudely keep her face into the screen and give us silent treatment, upon asking questions became all weird and started saying that sge has her own team and trains people…so!??? Are we just suppose to buy what she is telling ys?!! We are customers and we are being incredibly patient with her. Ignoring her weirdness which was clearly indicating that she did not to go get job. Meanwhile a customer in the background was bring inappropriate at the stirs- yelling and causing chaos in the store. Sahiba was worried if it was her phone that the customer broke. Seeing how disturbing this must be gif the staff I let her know that we are happy to wait and she can go and check if it was her phone if not. Yo me, it was common sense to see a fellow person feeling worrisome. Sahiba kept continued filling the form giving us as little information as possible. When she prepared the guns quote amount of plan and device plan dad and I disagreed on it, because dad said he wanted a different one. To this Sahiba said, but I have already filled the form. Dad said please change it, she said pointed hands towards me in frustrating. “ but she said go $49.00 plan, and there is so much miscommunication between two of you!” I am like, excuse me, we understand that we are requesting you to redo the form but but is it tooo much to ask?!!!!! She kept telling dad that once he is back from overseas he can upgrade the plan anytime he wants. Do, you can’t do it now, but want the customer to come back request and do it then?!!! That was it….I hope they see the video camera recording of date and time I have pointed out and we were as polite with her as possible and she treated us like fools… we are customers we will be k ok suing good amount of money for this product. Are we not allowed questions?! Should we not be given full information? She clearly is no leader material and is the worst example of customer service delivery. I have been with Optus gif almost 4 years. All our previous experiences in this store have been pleasant and informative. It does not matter how junior or senior someone us, she may be the trainer in technical aspect: processes but she has zero customer engagement skills. She needs to receive training in how to interact with customers as this whole experience with her took away the excitement of us buying a new device. A very, very poor experience. Hope she is provided with necessary training.

Great experience, extremely helpful. Went there on Friday 16th around 0840 almost closing time, still they helped me sort out my home internet. The Optus representative was extremely helpful and very polite.
