The Blue Room Bondi

We had our cocktail-style wedding at the Blue Room Bondi and it was amazing. All the staff were very professional, and we could not thank our venue coordinator, Kelly, enough for her incredible work on the day. It was so seamless and easy, which enabled us to have an amazing day. Our wedding coordinators, Kirsty and Isabella, were so helpful throughout the process.

My husband and myself cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The venue manager and our sales contacts Katy, Isabelle and Daisy were very professional throughout, attentive and accomodating. The food on the day was excellent, with special requests catered to. Also - you can't get a venue with a better view in Sydney! Thank you again, we will never forget the experience the Blue Room gave us.

BLUE ROOM REVIEWSadly we had some terrible experiences with The Blue Room Bondi. We had planned the event from overseas as we are not based in Sydney.From the time we signed on with Isabelle (the Sales person) in August 2018 till we were introduced to our coordinator Olympia in November 2018, the menu changed. Everything we communicated and confirmed with Isabelle, and had on contract that we signed, did not appear to have been handed over to Olympia as we had to go over it all again.We also had to go through the event sheet many times with Olympia as updates we made with our choices kept going back to the default. We decided to organise a phone call less than two weeks to our wedding since it was frustrating to go back and forth over email.On the actual wedding day, many things went wrong and not according to the planned event sheet:- It was agreed that the Blue Room staff would assist in some of the setup, however when the bridesmaids arrived to set-up there was only one staff available. This resulted in them being late for our video/photos;- No signage with our names stating the event was upstairs as agreed in email;- The wrong gift table type (round versus the rectangular) was on the floor plan handed to Sam (the on-site Manager);- This meant that an incorrect table was provided, and our friends setting up ended up using the table/ drawers downstairs. This was not ideal given it meant the gift box was visible from the public. Sam quickly sorted it out as best he could once we arrived and saw it, but it meant the gift table arrangement was not to our planned design;- Easel for the seating chart had a different colour base to what was presented to us, which meant it was not per our planned look;- We had advised that the cake and cake table be brought out at a certain time, but it was set up on the dance floor from the beginning;- Wrong information on where to set up music;- Seafood was served to a guest indicated as ‘No seafood’;- Meat was served to a guest indicated as ‘Seafood only’;- ‘Alternate serves’ service wasn’t alternate at some tables (examples of 80% of table getting one type);- 30mins prior to end of alcohol service, staff were clearing full un-drank wine glasses (what a waste!).Overall, food is good and portions are huge, venue is as romantic as per pictures (though smaller than expected). It's just unfortunate about the service we received.

We recently had a surprise birthday at the venue, the entire experience was exceptional! The room was fantastic, the food mouth watering and the staff just the best. This place is ideal for any special occasion, you wont be disappointed. Manny and Gwen, congratulations on having the best venue on offer in the area and doing such a great job with it. Thankyou for making the night unforgettable!

We had our wedding reception at the Blue Room Bondi and it was fantastic! The food was incredible, staff were great, and all at such a good price tag. Also, with unbeatable views of Bondi Beach it is a venue that is not to be missed!

The Blue Room Bondi definitely deserves a five star review. I attended a Bridal High Tea upstairs in the function room and it was magnificent. The arched windows framed the beautiful view of Bondi Beach perfectly. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

A very special mention to the venue manager Sam who was very accommodating to both my customers and myself. Congrats to Keeley and Matthew! PS: the salmon was so yummy, possible the best I've had so far. Highly recommend this spot for a great view of the beach, the ocean and the sunset!

We had a fantastic experience at Blue Room. Mikalah, our event coordinator was very helpful throughout the process. She responded to my emails promptly and the whole planning process was well structured, it made it stress free! The views at the venue are iconic, food was delicious and the staff were friendly! Thank you for having us!

Amazing place with great staff. Food and drinks absolutely spot on! I was there recently for an engagement and its as classy as it can get!
