Majestic Whale Encounters

Just WOW! We can't thank MWE enough for the amazing experience we had on our trip with them. The whales are absolutely enchanting, you'll never forgot the first moment you see them through the blue. The Mama's are so trusting and the babies so curious! It's a real privilege to be allowed to observe and share a few moments with them. MWE have clearly done their research on location, with whales easily visible in the bay from the moment we arrived at the resort! The weather was a little cloudy and the water a little chilly, so definitely follow the advice you receive in the trip bulletin and itinerary - bring a warm layer for the boat! We've never done an all inclusive trip before and it was so relaxing to know everything was arranged for us. This really was the holiday of a lifetime! Thank you!

I've been swimming with humpbacks in Tonga with everything organised by MWE and I just need to tell you: DO IT!Since the beginning, the first contact I've made with MWE with some questions, going then through the online booking, then all the communication along the process and received information and documentation, everything have been spotless: quick and clear information, friendliness, every question answered.Then, the trip and the experience: everything worked as expected - I can say it worked beyond my expectations! Sarah and her team was always available to help with a smile, the resort was simply great in all aspects, from the place, which is like paradise, to the staff, which was amazing, the food which was delicious and the organisation always working very professional.The boat trips everyday were beyond what you can expect: the whales are there. Yes! Some minutes out with the boat and there they are. And all the activities are made with care and in a responsible way respecting the whales and their space and mood.As I said already: DO IT! it's a once in a lifetime experience!

As soon as my partner heard about MWE it was a done deal (whether I was joining or not haha), and it was money well spent! Carmen and Matt made us feel welcome from minute one, they we're completely involved with the whole tour both professionally and socially and despite the pretty average weather we couldn't have hoped for more from the package. The longest I think we had to wait to see any action for the day was maybe half an hour and getting (very!) up close and personal with humpbacks in the wild is something that will stick with us for sure! Accommodation is great, staff are all great, the beach and snorkeling in the reef on the shoreline is great, most of our fellow guests were great, church on Sunday was... An experience..!Get it booked!In de waterr!""

Could not have had a better experience! Despite not having ideal weather, we had the opportunity to swim with several beautiful mums and bubs. Staff were also very knowledgeable, personable and happy to let me pick their brains. 100% would recommend and I will be doing more of their tours in the future

Experiencing swimming with the humpback whales in Tonga with Majestic Whale Encounters was so magical and humbling. This really is something you need to experience once in your life. Majestic Whale Encounters and the team at Seachange Eco Retreat were so professional and informative. A fantastic trip which I would do again and again.

I attended a fundraiser water film festival in Newcastle where Carmen from MWE was selling T-shirts. The connection was poor and my card transaction seemed to not work so she gave me her contact and bank details in good faith and I transferred her. A day later the transaction did actually work meaning I had double paid, a simple mistake, so I messaged her back to clear it up and she ignored the message, and again, three times over the course of six months. Really? This for the price of a shirt..you can do better than this company.
