Booking to stay here was easy and polite. We set up easily enough and enjoyed a few drinks in the bar in the evening.

Camp ground is fine. It has power, great tasting water and sullage pits. The amenities are a bit tight and tired but very clean. Loved the on site bar that is well stocked and great prices. Over all the atmosphere is good and we enjoyed our stay. If you like space and raaf history then this is the place to stay. Oh and great sunsets.

Great overnight stayer to check out the local display of amazing defence attractions. We’ll worth the stop!! Power and water on site. Wonderful pop-up bar at 4pm.

Sites level. Licenced bar good. The facilities let the place down. They well below standard.

This caravan park is seriously neglected and run down, in fact all of Woomera is in decline. The manager gave me a first strike and you are out" within 5 minutes for not telling my friend not to drive through sites- I admit

We read the reviews and were wary if we should stay here or just keep on driving. We opted to stay for a few weeks and so glad we did. After reading all the reviews I can only leave an honest review as to how we were treated during our stay and what the amenities, staff and town were like. First up I would like to say that I found the manager Shane to be blunt and straight to the point but very helpful if I needed to know where the dump point was. When you actually have a conversation with Shane he is a nice man. The staff from the Cudgee Bar to the cleaners here are very polite and friendly. As you can see by my photos the amenities block is old and run down. The toilets are quite small so hard for larger figured women to use them. The caravan park does have other toilets that are wider than the ones shown. Cudgee Bar is a fantastic little bar here at the caravan park. Perfect place to sit back listen to some music whilst watching a beautiful sunset. The prices at the bar are quite reasonable and they have the fridges stocked. The barman Jamie is very nice to talk to. Always greets you with a hello and a smile. In all honesty Woomera is not a bad town to come and stay for a visit. They have wonderful meals here at the Heritage Cafe and the Woomera RSL Sub Branch. There is lots to see here. If you are wary like we were and unsure if you should stop then take a risk like we did. If you follow the park rules you will not have a problem with management. If you don't know where the dump point is for your toilet waste then please ask. As for price per night for 2 adults and a dog on a powered site we thought $25 per night was a fair price to pay. The only things I would love to see here is maybe a sign or circle on the park map where the dump point is so people can find it easier and upgrade the amenities. Other than those 2 things we have enjoyed our stay here.

Great stay at Woomera. Great reception from Hoffy, with a friendly welcome and gracious assistance for novice people backing our caravan into our assigned spot.Clean (but dated) amenities were very much appreciated.Water on tap was great too.The bar was a bonus and we enjoyed the gorgeous sunset with a glass of bubbles at prices that were surprisingly reasonable.

Pleasant stay. We were in a caravan. Amenities basic but clean and the price charged reflects that. Staff friendly. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar, where we met other travellers. Drink prices excellent. Enjoyed a look around the town and checked out museum. Worth a stop.

I Had the best experience in years. Arrived just before" office close and was welcomed and booked into a tent site without a problem. Best cold beer and a very friendly little pub. The town of Woomera is well worth a visit. Very neat
