I have been training at Ben Hall Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu for about 4 years now. I chose to train under Ben Hall because of the simple fact that he has trained and received his Black belt from Carlson Gracie himself. So i know that i am learning from the source. Ben is an amazing Instructor and goes out of his way to help all his students not just in the academy but in there personal lives to. I have made many new friends through the academy. Every one is super friendly and easy to get along with which makes the training environment very progressive and fun. I recommend it highly to every one to come and train here.

He has over 4 decades of training, competing and knowledge under his very worn out black (looking more grey these days) belt. I'm a female jiu-jitsu rookie. I love generally working out and was looking to learn new skills so thought i'd give it a try. The fellas (and gals!) that roll at the academy are extremely respectful and everyone has been so happy to share their skills. I'm loving the challenge and how technical the sport is. Ben Hall is a great teacher - accomplished, passionate about helping people and a natural leader - he's created a culture of high performance, kindness and repect at the academy. I've sinced enrolled my daughter because the skills i'm learning are so valuable and she's loving it too. Highly recommend.

I've been a member of the Carlson Gracie gym since 2021. Ben Hall the Owner and head instructor is a fountain of knowledge and always willing to help out as are the other instructors. The gym is more of a family atmosphere than just a training facility. Everyone in the gym is so welcoming to newcomers and always willing to give some advise to make their starting experience easier.
