Cameragal Montessori School - Toddlers and Head Office

Our family absolutely loves the Cameragal Montessori baby and toddler classes with three children having attended. It's always the highlight of our week! My children are so engaged in the toddler room with the way the environment is set up. It shows what toddlers are truly capable of doing. Being there inspires me to make changes in my own home to live the Montessori way as much as possible. Selfishly, the best part of the classes is my own learning that I get from attending while my child plays. I love learning from Peta whom I'd consider to be my parenting guru! In the class I get to troubleshoot my latest parenting challenge with Peta and chat to like-minded parents. In the Peaceful Babies class (from birth) I learned so much and it really challenges the status quo on how to care for babies from a mindset of empathy and respect (based on Pikler and RIE training). It helped me understand my newborns' needs better and resulted in a deeper connection with my children.

My daughter has always been happy to go there. It’s a really fantastic place with a great educator, Pita, and caring staff.

The Cameragal Montessori Infant Program was a wonderful place to go with my son from when he was a baby and then into the toddler program.My son loved exploring and interacting with the curated environment including the age appropriate montessori materials. This is so much more than a playgroup. You could see his curiosity ignite and sense of achievement as he discovered new materials and books as he moved around the room. It was also wonderful to interact with the Directress who had so much insight into the different stages and needs for a child’s development. I learnt so much and felt more competent as a first time mum. It was also great to meet other parents and carers each week that provided me with some socialising and support, some of whom have become friends. I highly recommend trying the Cameragal Montessori Babies and Toddler Program.
