The Sofa King

I recently ordered an L-Shape sofa from The Sofa King and the shopping experience was much easier than I had expected. It was my first time making an order online: But luckily everything was perfectly fine, Sofa Arrived on time with the same look I saw on website. I highly recommended the Sofa King to everyone!!

We bought a sofa from the Sofa King ebay store 11ptyltd, and as soon as I sent the money, they cut off communication, would not respond to emails, disconnected their Melbourne number and would not answer the Sydney number.They requested bank transfer, which I stupidly did for the first time ever, and because I did not pay via paypal, there is no way to get my money back through Ebay.We never received our couch and lost thousands.These guys should not be allowed to operate. I have reported them to my bank, I am beginning legal action and will be filing a police report/calling the ACCC tomorrow.All of the positive reviews on Google are fake, paid reviews.Do not get conned out of thousands of dollars like I did.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FEE YOU HAVE PAID FOR YOUR ITEM.I ordered Family Lounge set on 24th of May and they said delivery will take 6-8 weeks. Then we contacted them at 6th week. They said you have to wait exactly 8 weeks. As per the website information, we didn't get any order tracking number. So we cannot track the order. When we tried to track the order using Order No, there are no records found for that order number. We have completed out 7th week of waiting and we contacted them again on 12th July. They said, item cannot be delivered and the item has not been shipped from China. what is the hell. how they slip away from their responsibilities? They never came back to us with any update. we spent thousands. They do not reply to emails, never answer messages on their website. we are going to take this matter to a third party.

If it was up to me I would give 0 stars for the stress which sofa king caused me. Sofa King requested for a 50% deposit 2k which was payed in 4 installments delivery of the sofa was promised in 7 weeks. Ever since the deposit was payed no one answers the phone and no reply for emails. After 4 weeks owner sends an email he is over seas. And the process gets delayed over and over again nothing till about 8 weeks. No call no answer to emails. Giving sofa king one star because the money was refunded as promised. Alert this is a one man show shop, so if he disappears be aware you will loose your money. Use paypal if you deal with so faking" at least you have a guarantee to get your money back.He might have personal reasons but as customer I had the worst experience but thank Sofa king that gave me full refund."

This company is absolutely fake guys. Seriously dont spend even a penny on this company. I ordered a sofa on September from this company even after seeing a lot of negative reviews on google. Never delivered and it was the most insane decision of my life ever. Deserves a negative rating. Doesn't even reply to emails or phone calls. Taking a legal action right now. Desperately hoping to get the money back. Pety these sort of people exist in the online shopping community.

We had the same thing happen to us!!!! 3 grand down, no freaking couch, paid in October through PayPal, then it was reversed as PayPal was not accepted through them....paid again back through bank transfer AND NOTHING!!!Contact disconnected through Sydney, called Melbourne to be told they were a call centre in New Zealand...... AND THEY HAD NO IDEA OF ANYTHING....... sooooo angry and disappointed...... keen to go through fair trading, ACCC AND the media!!!!Hopefully see you on tv, you absolute rip offs!!!!

We researched a lot to get affordable leather sofa and suddenly found The Sofa King: We liked Sofa King because we could fully customize our sofa. The price was fairly reasonable” not so cheap and not so high” large selection to choose from and Quality was good: We are looking forward to enjoying our sofa for a long time! Thank you…..

Was shopping around for new sofa: We went almost all furniture stores: but didn’t get what we are looking for: and then suddenly my wife suggest me to check Online. When we Google we found The Sofa King ad on the top of Google, we just surprised by their sofa range and prices: They make very good sofas in the comfort you want! Everything was superb from ordering to delivery – Highly recommended!!

Finally, bought the perfect Sofa: First time we purchased furniture online, the manufacturer had a delay getting the product out (unforeseen circumstances) but Charlotte stayed in communication with us and kept us up to date all the way through the process. The sofa is high quality exactly what we are expecting, extremely pleased with it.

do not use this business, if you could call it that. after placing an order, ALL communication from the sofa king has stopped. they refuse to answer my calls, emails or return any messages. i have paid in full for goods which will not be delivered. shoddy business who puts up fake positive reviews to outweigh the actual reviews from people who have paid money for goods which will never turn up!!! if i could give 0 star rating i would! don't get sucked in like i did.
