Called up a couple of weeks ago to book in a service of our evaporative and were offered several spots that week and the following week. After explaining that we needed a morning time slot, I was told to guarantee that we would have to wait two weeks, which we were happy to due to work commitments. Expected them to show this morning at 9am as organised when we received a call at 9:01AM explaining that they could no longer come today as they were “booked out.” My partner questioned how this was possible as we had booked ahead and made arrangements, the young guy on the phone could only apologise and offer no explanation and only an option to look at another day. We understand things change, staffing sickness etc. but were offered no explanation. How do you book a job in with over two weeks notice, then are somehow booked out when it comes to the day of the job at 9am? Usually when you take on a job that promises more $ and that clearly prioritises over smaller jobs. Enjoy your money from other people, we’ve already found a local company to take on the job. Thanks for letting us down, we don’t recommend you.
