How lucky am I to have the best coffee shop in the Illawarra at my doorstep. The staff are so warm and friendly and their coffee...lets just say I now have an addiction. The treats are also dangerously good!

What a delight! This cosy little hole in the wall is tucked away from the hustle of town but so worth the effort to make a visit.Incredibly friendly staff with a fantastic collection of cakes and baked goodies (the donuts were sensational) and creamy delicious covfefe to boot.You get a real vibe of Newtown with this place and the owner really seemed to appreciate dogs, which scores extra points.

OMG! I came here on a recommendation and I was blown away! This is a super gorgeous little coffee hole-in-the-wall. They only have take aways but it's definitely worth the visit. We had coffee and pastries. The coffee was great. The cruffin (croissant crossed with a muffin) and the escargot was delightful too! Yum.The service is super friendly and the the woman who took my order put a smile on my face with her bright and bubbly attitude.If you have a puppy then you'll be stoked to know that they have a puppuccino station. Dogs welcome!

I'm not one to often give full fives but this place ticked every box for me. Warm friendly environment (you feel like you're in your mum's kitchen literally), great coffee, one of the best cheese toasties I've ever had for $11-12 and friendly service

Worst coffee in the area. Not sure how it can consistently be so bad. But one sip and it’s straight into the bin. Also $15 for a toasted ham,cheese tomato sandwich. LOL.Place is really nice looking and great neighborhood location. But there is better coffee at 7/11

Finally made it to @brownsugarespresso after a really busy morning at work. I have been following/drooling over their Instagram account for a while now.It definitely did not disappoint. The toasties (chilli chicken; ham cheese and tomato) were scrumptious and coffees hot and strong. We also brought home a brownie and a financier for later. On top of the food, the warm and friendly service is outstanding!!Will definitely visit again.Highly recommended.

I used to love this cafe's baked goods, but something seems to have changed. I stopped by recently and didn't see any of my old favorites - maybe the owners are different now? I miss those delicious muffins. I might have to try some of their newer offerings and see if anything catches my taste buds. But, I really miss those old baked goods!
