Country Charm is a perfect little escape located not far off the main road, but just far enough to feel like you're away from the hustle and bustle. A charming little cottage filled to the brim with gorgeous home and gift wares - vintage inspired and modern, practical and decorative. If you follow the coffee aromas to the back of the shop, you'll also discover an array of homemade sweet and savouries, so you can sit back with a cuppa and cake and take in the relaxed atmosphere on the deck or around the lush garden while you admire the country scenery. Definitely a must-do/see if you're living in the Mackay region or just visiting.

Beautiful location that is difficult to find. Great selection of home made cakes and slices. There's also interior decore items for sale that are very tempting.

Great food and atmosphere. Lots of beautiful items to purchase. Definitely recommend booking a table as it was very busy! Only reason not giving full stars is the wait time was long to get food and drinks and there wasn't enough seating. It was very hot under an umbrella outside. There was lots of shaded area down the side that was nice and cool but it was wasted with cars parked there.

The Christmas Cottage is beautiful, a gorgeous ambience!, quality product. Excellent variety. Pricey but I can see why. Lovely team of ladies ready to send you on your way with the Christmas goodies. Appointment required on weekends, not sure about midweek.
