The Ginger Factory
Even if you don’t have young kids it’s still a lovely place to stop . The cafe is great and well priced . The kids nuggets and chips were $12 and the pork belly salad was $20. Both great meals we enjoyed . The gardens are lovely. Turtles in the small lake , bush turkeys and lizards in the gardens . Plus the shops are great , especially if you love ginger .

Perfect for a day trip. Suitable for kids of all ages. No need to line up anything. The day would be easily fill up with lots of amazing activities. There is a new soft play area for little kids. You could also pick up some beautiful ginger flowers on the way out.

Well priced, friendly staff and many adventures for the family. Whether you want to check out the factory tour or just sit back and relax at the colourful umbrella gardens with an ice cream, this is the place for you. We were here for almost 3 hours and the family didn't want to leave.

Great place for young kids. The theme park experience without the super crazy prices.Always check to see what is happening, school holidays always has extra things to try and do. Train was down today, but they swapped our tickets for the boat ride with no cost.We did the factory tour, and it was great. You get to try some ginger products afterwards, which was nice. Boat ride is good for 8 and under, but older kids might be bored.

Loved visiting here! One of those perfect little hidden gems. Beautiful grounds with plenty to do and some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet! The Factory tour really opened my eyes because I didn’t know a lot about ginger or what goes into processing it. The tasting at the end was divine! We’ve made the cordial and “naked ginger” regulars on our weekly shopping list since! Really enjoyed the cafe as well!

Kids friendly fun place!Got a train & boat ride pass for $20 per person (under 3 is free). I think there are still plenty of kids play areas without the pass but it was fun anyway.Lots of interesting ginger products. I really liked the ginger beer. A bit unrelated but personally I would recommend Roogenic Sleep tea, I was surprised to see the tea here as I was going to order online. My daughter enjoyed the ginger bread man.

We did the tour, taste , play package. Spent 5 hours here. A lovely place to relax, learn about ginger and honey bees. Food was delicious.

Enjoyed the ginger factory. We went on the factory tour and the bee keeping tour. Bought some product on the way out which was nice. One of the only places I have seen that sells nougat (ginger flavoured). Easy to get to and plenty of parking.

Our family absolutely love the Ginger Factory. We have 2 young children who love the train and the overboard boat ride. Walking the Gruffalo trail is a great experience too. On our visits we always see lizards and turtles, have a ginger scone and an ice cream. Rain or shine, this place is great for young families and oldies. My late father loved to come for a drive and grab ginger marmalade and ginger beer from the shop. A beautiful place.
