Brett Page has been fantastic as my shed consultant at McHugh Steel. The shed builders on site being Patrick, Ryan and Len also were all exceptional in dealing with on site as well. Very respectful at my home, very neat and tidy, they cared about the job at hand and took great pride in the job. I had talked to other shed companies prior to talking to Brett about my custom design that I needed that required some thought and extra effort. It was not a matter of erecting a standard shed, it was a one off design. Brett went the extra mile to help when no one else was interested. The builders on site were all great and the finished product is 100% spot on. I am very happy with using McHugh and have already recommended the team to others. The most professional shed company I have come across. You wont have any problems if you give Brett Page a call.

Sadly, I cannot recommend McHugh Steel to anyone. I ordered a pair of colourbond gate panels to be fitted between two brick piers. Not only did I provide accurate measurements of the gap but also sent in photos of what I was trying to achieve.I was somewhat taken back by the price of $1850 for the pair of panels but nevertheless paid the price having been convinced by the salesperson they knew what they were selling.Some 2 months later and after several calls to McHugh to see where my panels were, they were found in their yard and made available to me.No assistance to load them onto my transport and more importantly, none of the discussed accessories were included, - things like hinges, latches etc.Now, when I brought the gates home to be installed, we found that the panels were 50 mm longer than the quoted length and additionally, this was not a panel pair but both had the reinforcement bar running the same way.I contacted McHugh for a remedy and after some towing and throwing, the operator said he would have to put this to management. Needless to say, the same Management" never seemed to do a thing about it and I am stuck with sub-quality gate panels that are too long for my penceI have had significant cost and inconvenience of the thing but McHugh seem more interested in their big sheds and their dorky music advertisementsThis is what I have had to resort to or throw away the $1850 worth of a gate and buy from someone else who knows what they are talking about and cares what they sell peopleNever

I had a great experience with McHugh steel and I could not be any happier with my end product. I got in contact with Chris, the sales consultant working for this company and he helped me out throught the process of getting a perfect shed for my house. They have very friendly staff and good quality shed. I would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a reasonable experience with McHugh Steel. Staff were friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, we were mislead with measurements resulting in not enough product being supplied for our patio roof. We measured and allowed for coverage of 760mm but were assured their roofing sheets covered 820mm. So we adjusted based on their professional information and were left short. We also experienced crooked cutting of one of the sheets leaving the finished product not quite perfect. We ended up making up the difference with a clear panel (purchased elsewhere) creating a skylight effect which turned out to be an unexpected bonus. Overall, happy with the end result.
