We went to yesterday, it was disappointing experience, the table is sticky and environment seems not clean ,the sushi is not fresh and not delicious, especially the handrooll so bad , we won't go back this resaurant.

Don't know if the menu has changed recently but just popped in for lunch, looked at the dishes going past and literally 95% of them were huge pieces, which imo makes a not very pleasurable sushi eating experience.I've always thought that the idea of sushi was it was supposed to be no more than a mouthfull at a time not having to take bites out of a large piece of rice and filling. Also, over the p/a was what sounded like a Japanese radio call in show, probably nice for the workers to listen to, but annoying to customers (me)Will be my last visit here unfortunately.

Paid $17 for 8 tiny pieces of sushi that went straight to the bin when I got home. The “prawn” one tasted like burned breadcrumbs (no prawn taste at all). The salmon aburi was disgusting, both the fish and the fatty sauce (whatever that was), and just too much tasteless rice.Just go elsewhere… this place is terrible.I would not eat there again even for free.

This place use to be the spot for decent sunny coast sushi. For the last 18 months it's been on the decline. Tonight was it's last chance.Old, dry, uninspired sushi. Nothing fresh on rotation. Very little variety on the train at 6pm and what we did order lacked any precision, freshness or skill. We won't be back.

Really impressed, staff went to extra effort to get a staff member in to cut seafood so we could have the sashimi platter. Genuinely concerned about our comfort and happiness. Outstanding, food is typical from a sushi train outlet very acceptable quality and well enjoyed.

Not what it used to be. Asked for soy sauce bowl and was given paper cups and NO soy sauce! The server said they only give out the plastic fish soy containers now. How very unjapanese and killed the sushi experience.Roll plates that used to be 4 pieces are almost all now 3 pieces.

We’ve eaten here a lot of the years as we live near by. We normally eat in an we love the atmosphere. As others have mentioned I have also found the food quality has declined noticeably in the last year or so. Hardly any sushi on the train and very little diversity of rolls. Ordered some nigiri off the menu and it was brown. Returned it and got a similar piece. I’m done with it for now, will go out if my way to drive and try other places.

Love the decor in this little sushi train. The lanters are brilliant. You can either pick what you want from the sushi train or you can order from the tablet which I think is better because it comes out fresh. Staff could be a little more friendly but great overall!

Fairly typically Australianafied menu. Nothing special or outstanding.. $6.50 for a pot of green tea was unexpected and again nothing special.. when we visited it wasn't busy at all, although there was huge selection of plated sushi on the train which left us the unavoidable option to order fresh. Service was very fast..

We ordered from the ala carte menu. Service was fast and came with a genuinely warm and friendly smile, sushi was fresh and delicious. We were also impressed with the serving sizes. Will definately be back
