Currajong Retreat

My husband and I stayed at Currajong Retreat for a couple of nights on our honeymoon. Jenny and Lara were so helpful and accommodating. The tents were comfortable and set up with everything you need. The surroundings were beautiful and the set up allowed us to choose as many or as little activities as we liked. The food was definitely a highlight and exceeded our expectations. We are already planning a trip back for our anniversary.

Wow wow wow. This place was just amazing. From the loving customer service, to the absolutely delicious home cooked meals, this place is a MUST if you're looking to relax and unwind. I am not sure I possess the vocabulary to describe the magnificence of Currajong Retreat.My partner booked our stay at Currajong as a birthday retreat. The property is located on pristine land with exquisite views from your glamping tent. With no phone signal at your accomodation, no wifi and no tv, this was the prefect getaway to go off the grid, enjoy nature and spend time together. Jenny issued a warm and homely welcome. After experiencing the beauty of this property, I understand Jenny’s pride in presenting and explaining the property to her guests.The service we received from Jenny and Lara was second to none. From requesting additional bathroom supplies, more kindling for the fire, board games and books to read, and meals to accomodate dietary requirements - no request was a problem.The meals! Equal to any fine dining experience (& we’ve had our fair share of fine dining), the meal servings were generous, absolutely delicious and it was clear they were prepared with love. What a joy to have breakfast and dinner delivered to you!Other highlights included treats such as tea biscuits, coffee pods, herbal tea, an outdoor bath with 180degree views, seemingly endless amounts of hot water, a gorgeous indoor wood fire and a cosy sleep listening to the running of river water below. Jenny and her team have provided a luxurious experience with no detail left unturned. What a blissful weekend.I would thoroughly recommend Currajong Retreat and we will definitely be returning.

This was something different for my husband and I as we always camp in our tent or caravan and always with our dogs..Its been about 20yrs since we have done something like this and I'm so glad we did. It was just amazing from the first step on the walkway through the front door to the amazing views from our deck..The bath on the deck gives some of the most breath taking views.The Hosts Jenny and Grant are some of the nicest ppl we've met and Jennys Home cooking is delish we surely didnt go hungry plenty of variety from local produce ..We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Currajong Retreat to anyone that just really needs some time to yourselves..another highlight that Currajong Retreat isn't over crowded and no children gives this place its peaceful surrounds oh and the Andora goats are the cutest things just so friendly and adorable

My husband treated me to Currajong Retreat for our 25th Wedding Anniversary as a surprise.What can say but this was the most amazing accomodation in a safari tent with ensuite bathroom & a beautiful deck overlooking the river.Everything about our couple of nights was excellent.Very clean, beautiful wood fire, comfortable bed…Jenny & Grant were excellent hosts.The meals Jenny prepared were amazing from the breakfast baskets to the cheese platter & everything in between.Grant was more then happy to talk to us about farming the goats which are adorable.Exceptional attention to detail 5⭐️

If ever there was a small slice of heaven on earth. The Currajong Retreat is it.From the time we arrived, in fact, even before we arrived our hosts Grant, Jenny & Lara made us feel as though we were part of their family and their journey.On arrival we were stunned by the beauty of the property, the quality of the accommodation and the serenity of being surrounded by the sounds of nature. Jenny welcomed us and showed us to the most amazing place we have ever stayed. Breathtaking is the only word that comes close, it was almost unnerving to switch off from the rigors and distractions of everyday life. Every little detail has been thought of and then some!Our first evening we were introduced to Jenny's amazing home cooked cuisine and deserts. We then snuggled down in front of the log fire, luxurious blankets and emersed ourselves in the sounds of nature.The following morning after an amazing night in one of the comfiest beds, we were greeted by a delivery of our breakfast basket, again blown away at the choice and variety we were offered.We were up at 10am and started our Goat Walk" with Grant whose enthusiasm

The absolute highlight of our time in New South Wales! Jenny and the team were incredibly welcoming and happy to assist with anything at all, with the experience personalised for every stay from the drinks stocked in your fridge through to every meal home-cooked by Jenny (which you select from a menu each morning). While we thought initially we may get bored during our two-night stay, we were kept busy meeting the many friendly goats on the property, going on several river walks, exploring the quaint nearby townships, and of course enjoying a few glasses of bubbles in the balcony bath. Highly recommend and will definitely be back for longer!

The most amazing place run by great people and fantastic hospitlity. This was our second time staying here and now holds a special place in our hearts as it is where we recently got engaged. Thank you so much to Jenny & Grant for making our weekend so special. They were very accommodating in the lead up and during our stay, we couldnt have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend.

My wife and I could not have had a more relaxed time. The farm is beautiful, the tents are terrific and the hosts really thought of everything.We enjoyed walks on the property, a swim in the Towamba river and beautiful dinners each night. But the highlight for me was simply sitting on the balcony of our tent and listening to the bell birds and the far off river rapids while looking out at bush lands and distant farms.Definitely want to return and for longer.

Jenny and her family are amazing hosts! Everything about Currajong Retreat is personalised to your specific needs, and nothing is too much. We absolutely loved our time at Currajong. The tent is luxurious, and the bed is so comfortable - the best way to relax!
