Crackle 'N Spit

I can't rate Crackle & Spit highly enough. We recently used them for our wedding on the recommendation of a friend. They were helpful and flexible from the beginning, but required very little from us (perfect when you're planning a wedding from overseas). We barely had to think about them after we booked - they turned up on the day, set-up and cooked, and required absolutely no direction. They're total professionals, really lovely people and the food is AMAZING! The meats are all cooked onsite so are super tender and delicious - our guests all raved about the food. We couldn't have asked for better caterers.

I paid a deposit (electronic transfer of funds) during Feb’22 for a catered event scheduled for Dec ‘22. Because of their inefficient bookkeeping I was asked some months later to pay the deposit again to secure my booking ! Very sloppy from their end. Unfortunately, circumstances changed during Sept ‘22 & the event had to be cancelled. Despite notifying Crackle n Spit of the changed circumstances & twice politely requesting a refund of my $300 deposit, my requests have been ignored without any communication. I consider it fair & reasonable to expect a refund when no service has been provided & can only conclude such behaviour to be extremely unprofessional & unethical & cannot recommended them.
