Meanarra Hill Lookout (Mallee Fowl walk)

We stopped by Meanarra Hill Lookout on our way back to Kalbarri from Denham. The carpark is decently sized with toilets available.The path to the lookout is quite a short distance from the carpark. There are a couple of lookout points which show the scenic views of the area around the coast. the larger area, which happens to be the furthest away, also has cover and benches.Like many of the attractions in the area, there are plenty of information boards so you can learn a few things about the area.Although there are stairs, there is also a path that can be used instead so it is quite accessible.There is a walking trail here called the Malleefowl Trail, a 1.5km loop which should take about an hour. We didn't have time but it would have been interesting to walk along the gravelly path.It was a nice stop to get really nice views of the area.

Beautiful lookout, and so close to Kalbarri town. The road there was closed last time I visited, but was luckily open this trip! The 1.5km round trip Malleefowl walk begins here, and if you're lucky you might spot one :)

Just out of the Kalbarri townsite and a high point looking toward the town and Indian Ocean. Great for sunsets

Great views. Plenty of parking. Toilets available too. Would be great to watch the sunset there!

Stunning views across and around Kalbarri...a great set up to learn about Nanda Country and to sit and enjoy the sunset.

Nice bush 30min trekking. Start at the steps at the beginning of the carpark and u will end up at the lookout to have a rest and enjoy the view, if you are lucky u can spot emu and goat. Try not to eat them

What an amazing view! You can see the river, the town and the ocean in one vista. Wonderfully neat trails and toilets and accessible for all abilities with a shelter provided.

Amazing place views are wow easy path way and wheelchair access and you have toilets aswell but the view wow you can all of Kalbarri
