Second visit to this establishment and it was better than the first! They have a new menu which provides good options! The Peruvian Chicken is a must of you like a little spice! Steaks were cooked to perfection and by far the best steak we've had in Mackay. I highly recommend the apple crumble for dessert! The service was spot on, the staff were very attentive and made you feel welcomed. The atmosphere feels fresh, inviting and serene. We will definitely be making many more visits. We want to make a shout out to Kelly who took great care of us! Looking forward to coming back again!

Breakfast was average, service is slow.Suggest you go for dinner(was good) and take a flare gun to get service, also beyond loud inside so get a spot outside if you want to talk to the person you are dining with.

Went in for dinner tonight and was quite disappointed. There were not many people in the restaurant but it took over 45 minutes for our meals to come out. My partners steak came out with things missing. I had to wait 2 minutes after his meal came out for my meal to come out. The missing things for my partners meal took another 5 minutes to come out after that. Service was extremely slow. We went here over a year ago and had a really good night, which is why we booked again tonight. Also I asked for the kids menu for our child and got told there was no menu yet and the waiter just read out what was suppose to be on it. Personally I would have printed a temporary menu for this situation instead of listing everything verbally to a child. I did enjoy my meal once it came out.

Had a wonderful meal there tonight. When we first arrived, the poor lady who was the only server was run off her feet. But to her credit she was so apologetic and lovely to talk to. Also the young man behind the bar started to help her serve. The both of them should be proud of their excellent customer service. Made us feel so special, still, in a room with quite a few other tables. The food was outstanding. I was sceptical at first looking at the menu as it’s not so elegant to look at for a fine dining restaurant that also offers burgers, chips and kids menu. However looking past that, the menu items on the front are exquisite. I can highly recommend the lamb strap-back and the prawn and crab hot pot! Incredible presentation and fantastic taste sensation. Then on to desert. Oh my lord we hit the jackpot with the Flourless Chocolate Pudding and the Crème Brûlée! This was so worth the dinner date. Amazing.

Bec and all other wait staff and kitchen where amazing and went above and beyond .. all restaurants should have the same service and kindness they give..just AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!! And the atmosphere was just as fine

Galleons was a lovely spot to dine. It had a calm serenity with our table overlooking the pool. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere with great company. The waiter was very polite & hospitable. The menu had a sufficient variety of foods to choose from. My meal presentation was of a high quality & was very tasty. I would happily dine here again.
