Hindmarsh Falls

Great water falls, well worth the drive and only a short walk to viewing area, also a pinic area at first car park.

The Hindmarsh Falls was an interesting tourist attraction with an unsatisfying view. We visited the falls and walked to the lookout point but it seems like they barricaded the rest of the walking path or maybe it was just not as accessible as before since the viewing point was quite disappointing.However this would make it a great attraction for those tourists that would like to see a small waterfall and only want to walk short distances to the viewing platform.Hopefully Tourism SA would be able to turn this into a potentially beautiful attraction.Follow and join me on my next adventure!IG: @the.koffert.kiwi

Decent flow of water when we were there in in Jan. Pity the path doesn't go any closer to the falls or closer to the stream.It's a little hard to see the falls and as the vegetation grows, it's only going to get harder to appreciate it.

It's a quick hike to the falls from the parking area. There is a short drive down an unpaved road to that parking area.

We must of went at the right time of year because it was amazing. A short walk and easy for the little ones.

Hindmarsh Falls are located 18 km from Victor Harbor on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Has a picnic area.

A nice surprise, had no idea this was here. Views are only a few minutes walk from the car. Some stairs but not many. Our 4 year old had no trouble. No access to the actual river itself from the track.

Worth a stop in the right weather (we went late may) and the surrounds were green and beautiful.You take stairs down to a viewing platform or just to other side of it if feeling adventurous I guess (although not advised). The falls were alive and well while we were there.

During summer it is not more than a trickle cascading down into a small pool.The views are worth the short drive on dirt road and a short walk to a viewing platform halfway down. A deteriorated, slippery path leads further down for better photos or adventure.There is a separate, grassy picnic area with 3 tables and a rubbish bin.
