Old style pub, with great atmosphere, needs to be refurbished, if you accept it for what it is, you will have a great time. Food was excellent, friendly staff and excellent prices. Will definitely be back.

Thought the food was ok.. bought food for the whole family, but had a voucher so one meal was free. I think the whole family thought it was good.. portions were ok.. I don't think anything stood out as 'great'. My only gripe was the carrots were basically raw that came with my steak.

Enjoyed the location atmosphere and watching the game. Hit the chicken winglets $15 loved it.

Found this pub by accident, what a gem.Meals are a great size and don't break your bank and the mojitos are yum! . . Now everytime we are passing through and it's around dinner time, we now stop in our little favourite pub!Enjoy

Went for trivia and the host was good. It was a good variety of questions. She (Meggs, I believe) was clear and helpful. Lots of sports questions (not my preference).Table was sticky, asked politely for it to be cleaned.Took 30+ mins to get my haloumi burger and chips + bruschetta (avoid, it's just garlic bread with diced tomatoes and onion).My table got their meals 10mins earlier which was a vegetable stack and rump steak W chips and salad (sauce was a miss). It was a busy restaurant so some forgiveness there. Took another 10mins for plates to be collected. Staff need to be more diligent and less careless. I have worked in retail for 10 years. Even if you don't like the work you gotta do what is best for the customer. Would I visit again? Probably not. Lots of parking as it's near Southgate Shopping Plaza though.

Pretty good atmosphere, price is reasonable and food is quite good. Plenty of places to sit or stand and caters for large groups too. Watch out for the daily specials featured

Very good veggie burgers. Large portions. Very good quality. Self service. Staff friendly and helpful. Well worth the visit. Vegetarian options available too. Definitely will come back to this restaurant next time.

Food was okay, went on Monday trivia night. Went again last night for trivia night. The postmix at the bar was out so the barman poured me two 1.2 litre jugs of coke including ice from a two litre bottle of coke and charged me $21.00 for about two litres of very flat coke from a bottle that cost them three dollars tops. When you get a jug of postmix, you don't mind paying as it's fizzy and alive and it doesn't really compute as to cost as postmix is very cheap but the quality is excellent compared to the two litre bottle that comes from the factory flat as a tack. It just doesn't feel right to be paying over twenty dollars for two litres of flat coke

Loved the food & the vibe. The Shire Schnitzel was amazing. Wings and ribs were excellent, slightly bummed that the menu didn’t mention the ribs are beef not pork. Regardless they were still great and the portion was huge.Really enjoyed this pub. We will be back next time we are in the area.
