We had lunch here. Well priced and well proportioned. Great value for money. Friendly staff. Food was tasty and fresh. 9/10We came back 8 mths later. Still awesome. Keep up the good work guys!!

Got dinner for 6 of us on a Sunday night. Great food and generous serving sizes. Prices were more than fair. Salads were fresh and tasty. We placed a phone order for various burgers and chicken pack and all were ready in 10 minutes. Can't wait to go back for another charcoal pack and veggie burger.

Worst Roast Chicken and chips I had in 20yrs living in Australia. Dry and bad tasting chicken and the chips were soggy and hardly any chicken salt. Asked for mayonnaise and got some glossy white paste.

What great value and great tasting meal this was. To take away, I ordered a Schnitzel Creamy Pack, which comprised of a large Schnitzel, roast pumpkin, peas, corn, scallop potatoes and gravy. The meal was large enough for two people. The Red Hen at 41 Sackville St, Port Fairy is right in the heart of town. The staff were quick, friendly and attentive. I placed my order, and the meal was ready in no time. If you want a flavourful meal I could recommend a trip to these guys and gals.

Got a Chicken Schnitzel burger and small chips, price was an absolute bargain since the ‘small’ chips were huge and the burger came with two big schnitzels. Everything tasted fantastic. Would easily recommend this shop to everyone. 5/5

We head to Port Fairy once a year during the Port Fairy Folk Festival and this is the place that I really look forward to. Their salads are absolutely delicious, servings are very generous and the price so reasonable. Definitely recommend this place when you’re heading that way.

Was looking forward to it based on reviews but my chicken schnitzel burger was inedible. Overcooked and awful tasting schnitzel and the mayo was toxic. My husband had beef burger and said it was average. The chips however were great!

We add fish and chips and half chicken and salad and everything was delicious. Generous portions, everything super good, tasty and cheap price for what you have. I definitely recommend.
