Our spoon carving workshop was one of the highlights of our trip to Tassie. We absolutely loved the experience of starting out with a log of wood at the beginning of the day and ending up with a finely crafted spoon at the end. Dave's tuition was next level. He talked us through every step of the process and gave so many helpful tips along the way. We would highly recommend this workshop for anyone. If you are already into spoon carving and want to learn more, you won't be disappointed. If you are a raw beginner you will certainly feel like spoon carving is something you can easily master. It's a great workshop to do as a couple, with a work team or with your family. Michelle's morning teas and hospitality should also not go unmentioned. We absolutely loved our time with this beautiful couple. Thank you so much.

4 of us attended one of David's Sloyd/Spoon Carving Workshops. A very fun day going through the process, tools and, of course, actually carving spoons. We all came away with 2 spoons and had a great time being creative with our hands. Highly recommended for that truly bespoke Tassie experience!

My partner and I attended a spoon carving workshop with David when we were on holiday in Tasmania. It was a great day and we really enjoyed chatting to David and all of his teaching and tips to help us carve our spoons. Looking forward to using our spoons for many years to come and being reminded of our trip to Tassie!!
