Central Coast Council

Central Coast Council are complete trash! Money thieving, incompetent and absolutely selfish. The coast is such a beautiful place and these people take advantage and ruin it by making absurdly ill advised decisions on a daily basis. They spend ridiculous amounts of money on sub contractors who are just as corrupt as they are and projects never get built with any quality. They raise revenue by issuing unfair fines and high rates then use the money to line their pockets instead of fixing the 1000's of potholes and other issues plaguing the coast. There needs to be a big change in who and how the councils are run.

today 19/10/2017 our toilet system to the main overflowed due to a tree root growing in to the pit- with in 1 hour of ringing council 6 men were here and under extreme conditions rectified the problem and left the area like nothing ever happened- I take my hat off to the men who got stuck in to it with no complaints and if any one doubts the council workmen,s commitment to there work they are simply wrong-well done men! thanks- ken

I found that all my contact points within the council for rates and things have been good. Helpful staff there and if they dont know theyll find out for you. I have called and gone in personally and the customer service i recieved was always polite and efficient.

Remondis who contract our rubbish removal for the shire strives to greater hights of crap service. If they miss your bin collection then good luck in getting it sorted out. Yet cant entirely blame them Wyong council has equal blame for this and must be accountable, Maybe a super council will be a good thing.

Spent copious amount of time on the phone with 2 phone calls to CCC. Nobody knows who or why the water supply has been stopped and they dont know how to go about finding out. Spoke to 6 different people. Was promised a callback and didnt get one. Total incompetence

Luke at the Council Customer Service took the trouble to find the answer for me. But council needs to regularly update the FB page and the events info. Luke took 5 minutes himself to find out if the Mangrove Creek Dam picinc area is open or closed. It shouldn't be that hard.

My Daughter goes to netball at Wyong one Saturday. Ranger fines her for parking within 10 meters from the intersection.$330.00 Fine for an 18 year old going to sport, who wants to live in the Wyong Shire.No wonder no one votes at the local elections.

My full red bin was not emptied on Wed. I phoned Wed and was promised it would be emptied Thurs. Didnt happen, Phoned again was told it would be emptied Fri, didnt happen, was then told Mon, didnt happen. Still waiting after spending hrs on hold to talk to an operator. If council cannot provide the services we are paying for, they should give us a credit on our rates!!!!!!!!!!!another day, no response. It will now be emptied on the normal pickup. I have now gone 7 days with a full bin, and having to walk up the street to a friends house to dispose of my rubbish. Council, THAT IS CRAP SERVICE, you should be ashamed of the service (lack of) you provide.Remondis stated on multible occassions a supervisor would contact me.Guess what THEY DID NOT CONTACT ME!!!!!!!!!!

FIX YOUR ROADS. The potholes on every inch of the streets is shameful.
