Seriously overpriced. $115 for a shampoo & trim by an absolute jnr hairdresser. Not even sure that he has had any formal training.. Hairstylist I had was lovely but inept at blow-drying long hair. I made him stop blow drying, was breaking my hair with his technique. For the trim, he did not move my head once whilst cutting my hair. Low skills basically. I point the finger at the owners: Owners responsibility to train up the staff. Lovely staff but just a rip-off given the low skills of the hairdressers. If you’re using untrained low-skilled staff, price your haircuts at $40.Never going back, a total rip off.

Good service, nice fitout, generally easy to book, but the actual hair cuts let them down. At their prices you'd expect quality, but this is the first place where I've had to go to another hairdresser to get fixed up the next day. Maybe they do a good short back and sides, I don't know, but I won't be back

Great place to have hair done. Hayley is excellent and everyone there are always welcoming. Very friendly and know their clients. Wouldn't go anywhere else

What a wonderful experience for a wash and blow dry ahead of a Sunday wedding. So lovely that they were open and David the stylist was so pleasant, conversational and interesting to talk to. Thank you for starting our hectic day of wedding madness off on the right foot!

Hands down the best service I have ever received when getting a haircut.The ambiance was absolutely on point and the decor was brilliant.The haircut was thorough and I left it to the barber to choose a style. I was very pleased and have received a few compliments in regards to my new look.If I'm ever in Sydney again needing a haircut this is the ONLY place I'll go to.

Very attentive staff, they listened to what I was after and checked in with me during the haircut to make sure I was happy with the way it was going. I’ve found that other hair dressers just rush through the cut. Nuvo really took their time and it showed in end result. It’s somewhat pricy at $65.95 for the cut + shampoo but I can understand their prices given the amount of time spend and the expertise of the hair dressers. Personally it was worth that much for me.

One of the best hairdressers in Sydney.I have tricky difficult hair, and not only do they consistently make my hair perfect (when changing style and colour), but their colouring service overall is excellent.Would highly recommend for local and international visitors (to the star casino), as it is less than a 2 minute walk from casino.It is a very small salon so book in advance as they are always very busy.PS. One of the best head massages I've ever had as well.

I tend to avoid and procrastinate on haircuts as I'm usually left disappointed, but had an event approaching and a messy head of hair, so I chose Nuvo on a whim. Excellent service and honestly, the best haircut I've had in years. I recommend Hayley and will definitely return.
