Edwards Waterfront Restaurant & Café
Staying the night at Richmond Portland and feeling relaxed and chilling in the room taking in the views of the harbour, we decided to eat in and ordered room service from the restaurant downstairs. The meals were delivered by a delightful girl in good time. They were fresh hot and delicious. We went with a seafood risotto and the beef Wellington. Both were cooked perfectly and so tasty. We would recommend this restaurant if this is the standard of the meals there. Yum

Delicious dinner and lovely service. Had options for Coeliacs too. Great environment for larger groups and small intimate get togethers. The desserts which you can take away was yum(!) as well. Huge wine selection.

The service is lacking. Ordered a well done steak which took 1 hour and 40 minutes to arrive, when it came it was bloody and raw. We requested that the steak be cooked more and the staff took the meal back into the kitchen and never returned with it.

Service was quick and staff were very attentive. Food was amazing we had the chicken parma and carbonara. Parma was juicy and well cooked. Carbonara was perfect. Had the right amount of sauce not too thick not too thin absolutely perfect. Great view of the bay. You won't be disappointed if you dine here.

Loved this place. The atmosphere was cool and great. This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy meals. One of my favorite restaurants around town. The menu options are an excellent value. The dining experience overall is very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Edwards Waterfront Restaurant & Café
Nice simple place located across the road from the beach. Not much in the way of tables outside and pretty average seating options inside. Very limited food options but reasonable well priced. We spent about $140 for a family of 5 including drinks. We attended a 95th birthday there and where well looked after by the staff with all our orders taken from the tables and able to split the bill.

Edwards Waterfront Cafe & Restaurant was an unexpected trip down memory lane. I did not expect to find old favourites like rabbit ragout and pan roasted chicken breast with veg on the menu. To start, I went the mushroom arancini with a dry martini. To finish I went the beef wellington (seriously, who makes these dishes anymore?) and a craft beer. The mushroom arancini was nice and the dry martini was acidic and strong. The beef wellington was served rare and very tender, the veg cooked perfectly. It is rare to see such classic dishes these days, let alone see them done well. Compliments to the chef.

I went there on my bf birthday (14Aug). We followed the recommendation from Andy (Clifftop’s apartment Portland) and not disappointed. Great service and good food. We loved it.

Very disappointed about our experience here. When we arrived, staff seemed flustered saying they were a staff member down, and that there would be a wait. We were in no hurry, and were happy to accept a wait for good food. We did get a little frustrated that tables who had arrived after us were being served before us. When the food did arrive, it was very lackluster. The steak seemed to be a very cheap cut, no seasoning and no care taken. The kicker was seeing the chef having to cut a slice from the chicken schnitzel to check that it was cooked through. Not the sign of a professional kitchen, and not worth the price they are charging. There are other establishments in waking distance with a similar and cheaper menu.
