Almost died taking the alternate path that's blocked. It's possible to get to the end, but good luck trying. You'll need to manoeuvre through huge fallen trees, make sure you don't run into webs, traverse through mud, break through sharp pointy stick bushes and DON'T GET LOST. God help you if you do so.Took this photo though. Very pretty but sad to see. Wish the alternate path was refurbished, definitely needs to be improved. Otherwise, its a relic lost to time.

Nice forest at the top of 'The Ponds Walk' which takes you down to Rydalmere via Dundas. Great trail.
