First time trying this shop as we were working in the area. Got flake and chips. Flake was one of the best We’ve had! Tasted very fresh and wasn’t covered in an inch of soggy batter like some places. Chips were cooked perfectly and good amount of chicken salt. Will definitely come back when we are around next.

Used to be great food but now....went there a few weeks back, ordered on phone and arrived when told they would be ready. Was met with just one customer in store and around 6-7 employees, apparently the customer was a friend of the staff member serving her as they chatted for 5 minutes totally ignoring me, perhaps she didnt see me through the massive eyelash extensions ? Finally someone else notices me and asks one of the younger girls who has been standing doing nothing to get my order, no apology offered and eyelashes wouldnt even look my way. After all that the flake was tiny , the scallops batter wasnt cooked fully and slimy and everything was cold. Used to be great service and beautiful flake but will never go back now.

Is not good to see the service of your local F&C shop go down hill. Shop of young people with no management. Each time things have become worse, last time ordered 2 streak sanga with the lot, got bun with patties. When I mentioned it tonight we got steak in toast but certainly not the lot. When my wife picked up the order was treated very rudely. Very unlikely to be returning, going back to our previous F&C shop.

When we first moved to the area we were treated with the best fish and chips by miles. The last couple of years we have found the quality very up and down, one day everything is as perfect as you can get, next time potato cakes are over done and small. Same with the fish, it varies. No consistency in the quality.

After reading the reviews with people saying best fish and chips in Australia, we'll I think some people need to travel and actually taste some real fish and chips. I would put this shop as close to the worst I have ever had, my grilled fish was so thin and oily that my 10yo son asked me if I had ordered a pancake, my scallops were chewy and the batter was greasy. I suppose I am a little at fault because I smelt that terrible old oil smell when I walked into the shop but I didn't walk out, that was my mistake. We have only just shifted to the area and we won't be going back, too expensive and poor quality.

Very poor on Sundays stuff up orders 2 many young people cooking and talking didn't want to no me when I bought the order back haven't been back sad as it's close management need to step in may be come back if improves
