Vermont Aged Care

The staff are very caring and dedicated at Vermont Aged Care. Our mother has been with them for several years and I find them very good to deal with and keep in regular contact with our family in respect to any issues that may arise. Mum is very fond of all her carers and has always spoken very kindly of them.

My heart felt thankyou to the team of angels lead by Gerry at Vermont Aged Care (VAC), for the superior quality care you provided for mum during her time here, and following mum’s passing, the care and support you continue to provide for dad.After touring more than 36 aged care facilities two years ago, I finally settled on Vermont Aged care for my parents. I was immediately attracted to: the warm welcoming atmosphere; staff professionalism and friendliness; the option of a couple’s room with kitchenette; the well-maintained garden with areas for sitting; general tidiness; and the fresh clean smell of the facility each time I entered.What made my parents love and stay are the carefully constructed individual care plans with constant monitoring and improvements. The staff are kind and approachable, they care, listen, and strive to do their best for residents. There was never a query, a request, or an email that went unanswered. No matter how big or small the issue, I was always kept informed.Due to cultural differences and language barriers, it was quite challenging for my parents to enter aged care. However, the staff went the extra mile with tender and loving care, resulting in my parents settling in remarkably quickly and making it their new home. Dad has always been particular about the food he eats and finds it difficult to try new foods. But within the first week of staying here he was so excited to try everything and has been enjoying the food since.Little could compare to my direct experiences as a daughter visiting her parents almost daily over the last nearly two years.I would not hesitate to recommend Vermont Aged Care to anyone.

My father was in Vermont Aged Care since November 2019. The facility is modern, clean and well run.The staff and the carers are extremely good. My father was looked after very well.I would like to thank Gerry and his staff for looking after my 100 year old Dad and treating him with love and dignity

My mother has been a resident of Vermont Aged Care for the past 2 years. She needed to be placed into care due to a fall which resulted in a severely fractured hip. The care my mother received during her recovery was of a very high standard and much appreciated by father and myself. She continues to receive the best of care and is happy and content which is due we believe entirely to the calibre of the Aged Care’s team.

We have been very pleased with Vermont Aged Care. Our mother is now a permanent resident in the new section of the complex. The room is spacious, and clean. The staff are caring, and attend to her needs as required.

Big thank you goes out to Vermont Aged Care for taking the best care of our mum. From the 1st tour with Linda, Vermont Aged Care is a great facility with caring and loving staff.My mum had stayed with me prior to entering Vermont Aged Care so I know first hand the extra care they took to help her with her every day needs and also making her as comfortable as possible. Helping her go to dialysis at box hill hospital three times a week and doing the best they could with her recovery afterwards. Vermont Aged Care is a wonderful aged care facility which provides the most loving care in a happy and friendly environment. My Mum (98) and Dad (97) recently entered permanent care at Vermont and my sisters and I have nothing but praise for the staff, food and medical care given to them.They share a room together - something that is so necessary for people who have been married for over 70 years. They are fortunate to have a little kitchenette so they make a cup of tea or coffee for themselves or for guests if they so desire.Vermont Aged Care is bright and smells fresh every time we visit - something that is not true for many aged care facilities. I have no hesitation recommending Vermont Aged Care for those who need full time care.

During my Mother’s 4 years at Vermont Aged Care she received thoughtful, respectful and diligent care from all the staff, which I called Angels.Nothing was ever a problem with all queries followed up and I was always keep informed.I have no reservations in recommending VAC

My family and I would like to thank all the staff at Vermont Aged Care for the love they have shown and the excellent care they have provided to our mum during the years she was a resident there (from 2018 to 2022). My mum actually called the place her home. All the staff are wonderful, kind and caring and they went the extra mile to ensure she was happy & cared for. Especially during the Covid lock downs the facility was run very efficiently by the team with all the staff challenges experienced by the sector. The facility is very efficiently run by Gerry and his team and his selection of staff is to be commended. We would highly recommend this aged care to anyone.
