Don't let your child work here.Before this business was sold over to a knew head of management, I knew this shop to be a welcoming environment with friendly and lively employees. However, with the new heads of management i've noticed the business has grown stale and hostile. I was there to witness a massive fallout between managers and an employee, who was sobbing at the time while the two continued to yell and berate the teen. The environment felt unsafe and toxic. And the three teens on shift all looked tired and distressed. They looked frightened of their employers.Please look after your teens, and find elsewhere to apply for a job position.

Probably the best genuine fish and chips that I've had in Australia. A regular for us and will continue to be.I pretty much never liked a potato scallop in all my 40+ years... until I tried one from the Codfather... yum

The customer service and time schedule at this place is HORRIBLE! Decided to get dinner for my family, was told it would be a 45 minute wait time. Arrived 50 mins later to find they hadn’t even started making our food. We sat in the store for 30 minutes watching them continuously hand off food to uber eats only to be told that they handed off our burger to one of the delivery guys and because they were closing they weren’t going to make another one. They continued to hand us our gravy cold and told us to heat it up. Horrible service. I really liked this place but tonight showed they don’t care about customers, only deliveries. Might as well go to McDonald’s and get a family meal.

Just picked up a simple order; 1x large chips, 1x gravy and 6x calamari.Compared to normal, the chips serving was small and they tasted stale and overcooked.The gravy was heated up in the microwave (I saw when picking it up) and the calamari was lifeless and it appeared to be on its 10th cook in the fryer.

If i could give a zero i would this place used to be the best in town but since seems to have been bought out by scam artist ownersI ordered 10 bucks worth of chips and 3 scollops and a cod and this is what i got the chips didnt even fill the $6 large chips box even tho i ordered $10 worth and the large gravy was a small l had to tell the dude to give me my change he was going to take it when i asked if this was my order as it seemed small he was like yep mate thats yours worst place ever if you previously ate here do not come back orignal owners need to come back

Nice little fish and chip shop with what you’d expect from a good old fashioned place. Gluten free options (including chips) are a available plus they’ll grill the wide selection of fish for you. Wasn’t busy when we went on Saturday night so we sat outside and ate our dinner at the table and chairs. Parking available out the front. I had a gold old fashion Chiko roll.

We purchased a grilled fish and a battered fish, and both of them were slightly off. They didn’t taste fresh, the fish smelt funny, and the batter was so dark it was as if they were done in old oil. As we ate them we knew something was wrong. The standards have gone downhill over the last two years, which is disappointing as the shop was a go-to place. We won’t be back.
