I paid to do my taxes here and would give them negative stars if possible. I went to Arthur, because I thought I would get the best rate if I paid a professional to do my taxes instead of doing them myself. He offered basically no advice and when I asked him if my private health insurance, or the fact that I’m not eligible for Medicare, would make a difference in my tax submission he said no.I left, did my own research, and realized that they would make a big difference. When I went back to tell him, I was told by his assistant that he could not possibly know all the intricacies of taxation but to submit the documents and they would look after it.I submitted all the necessary documents and received a much smaller rebate than I expected but accepted that he was the professional and my expectations must have been wrong.It wasn’t until I went to a different tax agency the following year that I was told that the documents which would have given me a significant rebate the previous year (which I had submitted to Sullivan’s) had not been submitted to the government on my behalf and I should have received a much larger rebate. Because I still had all the documents, I was able to resubmit through the new Tax Agent the following year and receive the rebate but I had to pay for a whole new submission.If you’ve done taxes here in the past, I strongly suggest you have them reviewed, simply to cover yourself to the government in the event of the total neglect that I experienced from Sullivan’s Accountants.I basically paid Sullivan’s to provide no expertise, waste my time, and rip me off. Go ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE for your taxes - this place is a total scam - I’ve basically been robbed.
