Costa's Seafood Cafe
This is a restaurant and a take away. We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. It was very busy, which is always a good sign. We placed our order for 2 grilled snapper dinners. The fish was really good. It's not easy to find a place that does justice to seafood. The meal came with chips and a salad. The chips were tasty and were nice and crispy. We both had a salad, which was full of olives and feta. Both of which I love. The olives were too numerous and salty for me. Our meal cost $52 - not including drinks.Range of food- huge. (See the other reviews here). Check out the oysters and prawns. They were very tempting, as they looked amazingly fresh.Service: very fast and friendly. All the staff were absolutely wonderful and a huge asset to this business.Tables: plentiful, despite the rush. There is inside dining and outside in the fresh air.Parking: right out the front and around the area. No problems finding a slot.Child friendly- yes, I would say so.Amenities (toiles)- I didn't see any, but that's not to say they aren't there. In summary- definitely worth a visit. We were a bit surprised by the cost, but considering how lovely our food was, it seems good value. Most certainly when we are in the area again, we'll make a bee-line for this restaurant.

Delicious, freshly battered fish, chips and calamari, with generous serving sizes. Highly recommend the snapper.Their gluten free (GF) crumb is about the best I've tried.Complimentary sauces and table water available.

Good seafood. Chips were beautiful, crispy on the outside and soft/fluffy on the inside. Calamari was tender and melted in your mouth. Flash flied squid was a bit disappointing as whilst it was crispy and light, it lacked flavour. Overall a good experience and would go back to try some different things next time.

This place is really popular! They seem to always have long lines but there are plenty of seats inside and out. They serve everything from giant fresh fish, to other seafood, gelato and sorbets - plus their fries are done golden crisp all the time! Definitely a must-go if you’re local and craving fish & chips. Plus: the customer service is great and the staff is super friendly!

The best fish and chips I've had in Brisbane! It's a bit of a drive for me to get here (40mins+) but so worth the drive and I had to come back the 2nd day in a row because it was that good.My snapper was so fresh and cooked to perfection and I love how thick the piece of fish you get unlike my local shops where the fish is so thin and usually a frozen fish. The coleslaw salad was crunchy so you know it's made fresh. Their version of seafood salad is the best I've ever had too.

Wow. Love this place. The fresh seafood is amazing. There is a reason this place has won so many awards. You can fill up on a big feed here and not feel sick. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food.

If I was to say something about Costa's is I was served by the owner Jason, his attitude towards his customers is 5/5 he obviously values his customers.THE FOOD:Not only was the seafood really fresh and clean but the Sydney Rock Oysters were cremy as recommended by the owner Jason. The chips were cooked in fresh oil (you can tell by the taste) crispy and dried so no oil residue was left on the chips.Overall:Customer service 5/5Food 5/5Speed 5/5Restraunt cleanliness 5/5Atmosphere nice buzz 5/5Ill be back!

The most delicious seafood, salads and desserts. My favourite is the barramundi dinner. Offers (generous portions) for dine-in, take-away and a small selection of take home fresh seafood. Always very fast service even when it’s very busy. Well worth the trip to Capalaba.
