Went by their existing reviews and bought 4 branded bags for an upcoming family trip. One of them turned out to be faulty right away. Instead of doing a quick exchange or refund, we were dragged into their warranty process. We are expected to wait" for a few weeks with the trip starting in a couple of days. Left with no choice

Great experience. Whilst I didn't commit on the day of my visit, the staff were super friendly and helpful and understood I may wish to return at another time. So, no pressure but great service. And their prices are excellent!

Amazing experience when I bought online

Purchased a Delphin Dakar Hardside Large 81 cm Spinner Suitcase Black (from their online store with this being my local luggage direct). Which has a stated 10 year warranty. About 1 week after receiving the suit case, I used it to travel to Europe. Came off the plane and it was fine. Used it to travel from France to Italy over a period of 2 weeks via train only and wheels started to deteriorate to the point of failure purely from using the product in the way it was intended (as a suit case to carry your luggage). Attached are the photos of the wheels.10 year warranty for a product that lasted 2 weeks as a suit case…that says it all. I emailed Luggage Direct with what I thought would be a simple refund process given how ridiculous the circumstances were. I received terrible customer service. Was told by luggage direct “Obvious impact damage, caused by a carrier = not covered under the warrantyI’m sorry I am unable to assist any further – did you report the damage to the airline prior to leaving the airport?”.There absolutely was no impact damage. Luggage Direct didn’t ask me if it could have been by an Airline but just stated that that was the case (which it absolutely was not). Will be taking this much further and clearly this is a completely unreasonable result for a product marketed as great quality and lasting 10 years but failed to make to 3 weeks through using it exactly as it was intended, To carry luggage! Luggage Direct, clearly ignoring basic consumer protections.Stay away from this company. They will be no where to be seen when their products fail shortly after purchase. Their prices are great, but as it turns out, too good to be true. Go elsewhere! You do not want your suit cases failing whilst abroad.I posted here under a different Google name is all. I purchased this product for travel and it failed within 2 weeks and they refuse to refund me based on their own made up excuse. To all potential customers, this is what they will do to you too. Imagine buying a suitcase (with a warranty stated at 10 years) and travelling with it abroad, it failing within 2 weeks and the retailer responding like they did on product review. abysmal. I will update everyone with how I go when I take this further through Australian Consumer protection laws.

I have been looking around for my first set of quality luggage for a while when a friend suggested Luggage Direct and I was amazed with what I found. They had an amazing range of big name brands, all at much cheaper prices than I had seen at other stores. All the staff were extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable, which allowed me to find exactly what would best suit my needs.

Even though the place looks like an abandoned prison, the lady working there clearly knows all about bags. So many bags to choose from, overall a good time

Went shopping for some luggage at the Carina Heights store and wanted to give the Manager Dayle a shout out for her awesome service, she was very knowledgeable, helpful and went out of her way to help me with my travel needs. While I was there Dayle gave me some excellent suggestions for Xmas gifts and I ended up also buying these beautiful Hedgren bags.Thanks Dayle, I'll definitely be back to your store :-)

Very disappointing experience! We bought 4 suitcases last week and one of the bags (American Tourister) came with a broken zip. Called the store for an exchange and was told that the suitcase will need to be sent to the manufacturer for repair so will be out for 3 to 4 weeks. We are flying this week so I requested an exchange or refund because of the quality issues but was told they can't exchange or refund. In this age and era, I was shocked to hear a store wouldn't consider an exchange of a faulty product within a week of the purchase. What upset me the most was the response from their staff. I quite appreciated their help at the time of the purchase but their response and reluctance to help today was very disappointing or somewhat dodgy.They have asked me to call the head office but going by the tone, I think they already know what the head office's response would be. I definitely won't recommend this store to others.
