Thank you to Leigh Boswell, Dean Maguire, and staff in the Highgate House (HH) team for conceptualising, transforming and bringing our riverside apartment into the new decade.... and in time for Christmas! - Our first full renovation at 60 years of age was a Christmas gift like no other.Friends sum up our 4 month renovation: “a completely changed, transformed and understated apartment with class”; “a spectacular, sophisticated and elegant home that feels like a luxurious hotel”; and with “high quality cabinetry, craftsmanship, tiling, painting and building works”.Leigh, Dean and their kitchen/cabinetry and building company liaised together and with us, to totally redesign, renew and significantly improve our 3 bedroom apartment - colour & paint selections; selection and installation of wooden flooring & carpets, opening up of kitchen, wall removal, configuration of cabinetry & electrical goods, lighting design and cabinetry & bench top selections in kitchen, bathrooms and laundry ; and sourcing & selection of: floor and wall tiles, sanitary ware, mirrors; dining & lounge furniture, rugs, soft furnishings and light fittings throughout.The liaison, consultation, personal service and communications by and between all involved, ensured each provider brought knowledge, experience and attention to detail, and committed to and delivered timely, professional, high end, quality workmanship and products.Thank you to the team and all involved for the fun, excitement and “joy” in selecting goods, for the outstanding quality of all aspects of our renovation, and for your passion and tireless efforts to deliver our apartment ready within the tight 4 month timeframe.The final icing on the cake was the joy of coming”home” and discovering all of the new spaces and added design touches installed by Leigh, Dean and Chelsea, and the coordinated hanging of art works and mirrors/ blinds, etc.We will enjoy our retirement living- grateful for the experience and gifts of design, quality and commitment from Highgate House.Sincerely & in appreciation,Paul Cooke@ Newstead, Brisbane
