John Briggs Architects and Heritage Consultant

We had a terrible experience with John Briggs who we had commissioned to prepare a Heritage Impact Statement. He said he would do it in a week. He ended up causing 6 months of unnecessary delays to our project. We waited 6 months for him to start, even though every week he promised ‘next week’ which just wasted our time. If he had of been upfront we could have gone to someone else who would have had it done in the usual 4-6 weeks. After using John we used Gabrielle Moylan who was exceptional and really made us aware of how bad John actually had been. I’m really surprised John has managed to survive in the industry because he just isn’t very skilled at his job. I would strongly urge you to use a reputable Herirage Architect instead of John Briggs. I’d have to say he was one of the worst service providers I ever used...that’s really saying something.

Hopeless. Heritage job was suppose to take 2 weeks for the report. After 6 months we had nothing. He rarely answered calls or emails. Cost us many thousands.
