Mures Lower Deck
Been here many years ago. Ordered my favourite fish and chips again and it didn’t disappoint me. Fish is fresh and not too oily. Chips portion is large. Crisp Caesar salad and lightly battered scallops tasted great. Gets really crowded during lunch time. But it’s worth the wait. Great coffee too which comes with little surprises .

This is an absolute must if you are in Hobart. You wander the docks to be welcomed by this beautiful building. Curious, you walk into a beautifully lit, comfortable and friendly restaurant atmosphere of the lower deck of Mures. Your eyes are transfixed on the various seafood on display; oysters, prawns, scallops, crayfish and so much more. You jar your head at what people are eating at their table wondering what on earth you are going to order. I get the fisherman’s basket for one with a curried scallop pie. And boy it didn’t disappoint. If you have survived the delicious food explosion and have room for more….There is a seperate area for ice cream.Folks. If you wander the docks and feel curious, Mures is the place for you.

Good and tasty food. The portion was big. The staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for takeaway as we couldn't finish eating. Double thumbs up for great customer service!

Many locals recommended the place. Nice port view toward the harbor. Kickass chowder. Very creamy. Potato is completely pulverized. Mostly fish and squid in it. Nice clean oysters. Squid ring is a meh due to the unseasoned and thick crust. South AU lobster in garlic butter was tender and tasty but $75 and pop is still very steep. Restaurant is beautifully decorated with aquarium theme. Place includes a smaller oyster bar for drinking on the side and finer dinning style on the upper deck.

A comfortable dining environment with a variety of fish and chips to choose from. Had the seafood chowder, it was very creamy and good to share. One of the locals highly recommended the cold platter, served with fresh prawns, oysters, smoked salmon, salmon pate etc. Quite a nice meal to sit inside and enjoy the water view.

The lower deck of Mures is an excellent dining spot, perfect for enjoying a meal. My family thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience there, thanks to the relaxing ambiance and the breathtaking scenic view it offered. Ordered:- Seafood Chowder- Grilled Salmon with salad and chips- Battered fish (which was gemfish)- Scallop Curry PieFood was amazing, really fresh and tasty! The servings were huge too! It does get busy and you do need to find your own table...which may result in you sharing the dine in table with other patrons...

Mures Lower Deck
We had the seafood basket for 2, and the seafood chowder. The chowder was tasty, recommend to share it, as it is quite filling. The seafood basket was a decent size, fish, prawns and scallops all battered nicely, though we didn't enjoy the Mure's seasoned fish in the seafood basket. Chips plentiful and tasty. Overall a nice meal.
